I purchased intense violet (V2) yet my hair came out with more of a maroon, reddish shade. Luckily I was only doing chunky highlights and the shade compliments my natural color, but I am bummed that it’s not the rich violet I had hoped for. You can compare my natural shade with the color I got since I did chunks, and it’s clear that the shade displayed on the box for my hair color is definitely not what I ended up with. The product worked well so I might try other shades, but this didn’t create the color I desired.

This will not give you purple hair. Your hair will be red and it will fade very quickly. My sister and I had the same result. Very disappointed, I tried it a second time just to see if it would change things. It did not.

so i wanted to dye my hair red.. i dyed my hair this color thinking it would be like cute. BUT NO!!! even tho i used the whole thing and applied it EVERYWHERE it was patchy, only the ends and my roots were dyed red.. and the color!! it was UGLY! i did save it by dying my hair a brown a couple days later, it still stayed but it wasnt as bad. its cute fadded tho, my hair is a copper orange now and it wasnt a golden brown before. overall i dont recommend this for people who have brown hair and arent willing to bleach it before.

the product was a weird pink in the bottle and it turned my hair blood red it was not purple at all. I followed all the instructions and now feel cheated out.

I have 3c4a curls. I was skeptical to use this at first but using this for the first time, it left my hair feeling soft and healthy! Little strong smell but the oil ampolue masks it. BR2 its dark but I love it!

I have natural medium brown hair. The box showed it would still be a dark purple. I got red hair 😢 I even tripled check to make sure I didn’t grab the wrong box.

I have been buying the light brown for years. Since the new change the light brown is way too dark. I even leave it on less time. Have no idea what color yo go to now!!!!

Color is very pretty but it does fade. I leave it on for 35 minutes starting at the roots and grays. Once I finish coloring I then time 35 minutes. Color is super pretty and bold. It does fade so you need to color almost every 4 weeks to maintain.

I bought two boxes of the intense Violet thinking it would be vibrant purple and instead it came out maroon reddish and it looked faded within days after dying. I originally had light brown and blonde hair so that was not what I expected at ALL. When I fix this color I will be going back to Sally's where I used to get my products definitely recommend anyone who wants vibrant colors to do the same if not going to a salon.

Love this color. I have had 9 & 10 yr old girls & yes even boys tell me they love my hair. I get so many compliments with this shade. I hope it never goes away. If kids notice they are doing something right!!!

Did not work whatsoever. Shows a dark brunette, says it’s good for dark bases. I followed the instructions exactly and nothing deposited on my head. Garbage. I thought two boxes and what a waste of over 20 dollars

I have very dark hair and decided to try this hair color. I left it on for 45 minutes. I would say it lightened it to a light brown. Maybe if I did another round it would be lighter. I would definitely use again. I like that it didn't turn my hair orange.

When Garnier first came out, I used their products exclusively because they left my hair soft and manageable, and their true red hair dye was a gorgeous color without orangey tints. I received a ton of compliments on it from hairstylists, too. I was VASTLY disappointed that Garnier no longer carries that shade of red, and hoped that this Nutrisse R2 medium auburn would get me close to that shade of true fire red. And it didn't even come close!! Thanks for nothing, Garnier. Let me know if y'all decide to bring it back. Otherwise, your products are a huge waste of time and money!
