Q: Is this color easy to come off like if in the future i want to dye it light ? Or would i have to bleach it later on if i want to go back light?
A: Hi Janet, this hair dye is permanent, so it won't fade with time. We don't recommend bleaching color-treated hair. Your stylist may be able to offer some guidance as well. Hope this helps!
submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Hi Janet! Nutrisse Color Creme #20, Soft Black, is a permanent haircolor and will have to be removed before going to a lighter shade. So, it will not completely wash out, and will remain a soft black!. We hope this information is helpful!
submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 8 years agoBrand expertA: Hey so if been having jet black, black black and another black all mixed. I decided to go light a while back. DONT BLEACH. I recommend color oops the white/red box. It says bleach free. It would lighten up your hair ALOT. You can do 2 daily every 2 weeks or 1 until you reach desired color.

Q: I previously tried to dye my hair blonde with a different product (I have naturally light brown hair) but it didn't lighten my hair enough. It's been about 2 1/2 months since then. Is this ok to use?
A: I use it every 4 weeks. So, yes, you are saved for sure
submitted byOksana - 8 years agoA: Hi Johanna, you can safely color again if your hair is in good condition. However, if you have light brown hair, the lightest you could go with a traditional haircolor is a medium blonde. If you wanted to go lighter, you must use something with bleach!

Q: is natural dark brown reddish? chocolate brown?
A: Hi Mde- Thank you for your question on the Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Permanent Haircolor. The shade #40 is considered a dark natural brown shade there is no added red tones as it is a neutral shade. We hope you will enjoy using!
submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Always order the color you want with "ash" in the color name. This takes care of any red that might want to come thru. Since I don't want any red, I order Light Ash Brown or Medium Ash Brown.

Q: is chamomile 100 an ash color
A: Hi there Sally! Garnier Nutrisse 100, Extra-Light Natural Blonde (Chamomile), is our lightest natural blonde shade. Its not an ash tone, but the natural version of an extra light blonde, Shade 100 is best for anyone with natural hair between light blonde and light brown. For the same color but with an ‘ash’ tone, use the shade 111 Extra-Light Ash Blonde (White Chocolate).
submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 2 years agoBrand expertA: Hey Sally, The Chamomile 100 in Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Hair Color Creme is more of a warmer blonde shade. Check out the color 111 Extra Light Ash Blonde! For real-time answers to all your beauty questions, use the “Chat with a Virtual Beauty Consultant” button on any beauty product page.

submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 3 years agoBrand expertA: Hello! When dying over highlights, the highlights absorb color much easier than the rest of your hair, which makes it difficult to rid your hair of multiple color tones. For the best assistance, our Virtual Beauty Consultants can help make shade recommendations and answer other hair coloring questions. They can be reached by texting “BeautyChat” to 827438 from your phone. Hope this helps!

Q: I'm currently using 600 Deep Light Neutral Brown as I don't want any brassiness. I would like something in a similar shade but golden instead of neutral. What shade would you recommend?
A: Hi there Dawn. For a color similar to the Nutrisse Ultra Coverage 600 Deep Light Neutral Brown that has some gold, use the Nutrisse Ultra Coverage shade 630 – Deep Light Golden Brown. However, if your hair tends to look brassy when dyed, using a color with gold can enhance the tendency to turn brassy.
submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 4 years agoBrand expertA: Hi Dawn! Based on the current shade you are using, Medium Golden Brown would be a good option if you would like to add a bit of golden color to your hair. Hope this helps!

Q: I have blonde hair right now will this be a good choice to dye my hair back to my natural color which is brown?
A: Hi there! Going darker over hair lightened to a blonde can be tricky. If the hair is dark blonde or darker you can easily go to a medium brown with no problem. On hair lighter than a dark blonde there is the very real risk of discoloring the hair to a gray, green, pink or purple. To get a custom blend you can mix at home to get a natural looking darker result on hair lightened to a yellow blonde, call our 800# to speak to one of our haircolor specialists. Our number is 800-442-7643 our hours are from 9 AM to 5:00 PM ET M – F
submitted byGarnier Consumer Care - 4 years agoBrand expertA: Hi dog! According to the shade matching chart on the box, this will get you back to brown if you have a darker blonde shade of hair. Hope this helps!
