GEMS Retro Analog Alarm Clock

I recently got this retro alarm clock and I am very pleased to have this retro feel alarm clock. The design and color theme is based of old fashioned, which I love. It has a flip date display that shows the day of the week and the date. It is light weight plastic, however not flimsy, feels sturdy enough. The clock is very easy to use and the alarm sound is soft, not loud. I also appreciate that it is battery powered, making it easy to place anywhere without being restricted by a cord. Overall, I would recommend this clock to anyone who wants a simple and functional alarm clock with a retro look .

Keeps accurate time. The calendar has to be manually changed by pushing top buttons each day. Although the directions read clear, I can’t figure out the alarm setting feature to make it ring. Plastic construction doesn’t feel durable and could potentially break easily if knocked down.

I love the ease of this retro alarm clock! Having the date along side the clock is so helpful for kids, especially when learning the calendar and time. My kids find it so cool (maybe because they haven’t seen a clock like this before?!). I like how it is pretty basic, but it works great and can be a nice teaching tool for kids. It’s lightweight and perfect for any bedroom or office. Requires 1 AA battery, which is simple enough without worrying about cords or weird battery sizes.

Cute idea and was going to put it into my craft room that is all pink and orange, however, it was broken when it arrived. The day of the week sheets had fallen off so they did flip properly and you can't access that area to try to reattach them and fix it.

This whole thing is so cheap that nothing works well. The flip numbers don’t turn properly and get stuck. The alarm cannot be set to a precise time, you just have to give it your best guess. Also, it only runs on battery, so it is not dependable as an alarm since it could give out at any time.

I was not expecting to love this alarm clock as much as I do! I really needed something separate from my phone (across the room) that could sit on my bedside table while I sleep. I love that it has no cord and only takes one battery. It’s really simple to set up! The vintage vibes are cute and it’s neutral enough to match most spaces. This is not only useful for by my bedside table, but I can take it in my trailer and not have to worry about a plug being used. We’ve also been using it for homeschool to learn about time and the date because this is the only analog clock we have in the house. Great little clock with a surprising amount of uses!
