Q: how to change filter instructions

A: FILTER REPLACEMENT The “Filter Reset” indicator will light when it is time to replace your filter. Depending on usage and environmental conditions the filter will last approximately 6 months. The inside pleats of the filter will turn from white to grey when it is dirty and needs replacing. It is important to maintain and change the filter to continue to optimize the performance of the air purifier. IMPORTANT: Do NOT wash and re-use the filter. Please contact Customer Service to purchase a replacement filter or visit guardiantechnologies.com REMOVE AND REPLACE FILTER 1. Turn off and unplug the unit 2. Flip the unit to access the bottom panel3. Turn the knob LEFT to open, twisting until knob is removed. 4. Lift bottom plate (filter cover) off of unit. 5. Remove and dispose of filter 6. Replace new filter and lid. Secure, then add return knob and twist RIGHT to close. 7. Reset the filter indicator by holding the Power button for 5 seconds. IMPORTANT: there is a red button inside the filter compartment. If the filter is not placed in properly or the filter cover is not secure, the button won’t be activated and the unit will not turn on

Outstanding if you need an ionizer. They should make a dual ionizer and UVC model!

An excellent hepa air purifier. Purchased mostly because it has an ionizer which many of the other purifiers they make have UVC instead. There are pluses and minuses to each, however in my case I needed an ionizer instead. HOWEVER MANUFACTURER SHOULD MAKE AN AIR PURIFIER THAT HAS BOTH AN IONIZER AND UVC!! Odd that they haven’t yet. With a touch of a button you could enable and disable the ionizer. Please strongly consider.

I like the way it looks, and it even doubles as a the white noise I like to have while sleeping. No more need for the fan to run. It has helped me with my allergies, as well, which is the most important aspect.

Bought these air purifier thru Costco online and were happy we bought it. Makes it really difference the air we breathed at home now. It's so clean, so refreshing and relaxing. Will buy another unit again to placed it in the living room.

Had this air filter for a while now seems pretty good so far .The filtration uses a hepa filter plus a carbon feature all in all does its job pretty good especially for
its size depending on the area you live i live on out skirts of the city.already change filter not the 6 months though more like 4 to 5 months the machine is louder then most espeacially on first setting.I wouldnt recommend for bedroom okay for living room or office etc.ty paul franks p_franks@telus.net

I bought this online from kohls in June, and I'm just replacing the filter this month, it keeps me able to breathe easy at night and i don't have as much as a stuffy nose in the morning anymore. I wish it had more powerful settings, but its small and does its job.
