Q: Description indicates 8 profiles. How does the scale know which profile to use for the weight when the scale is stepped on?

A: Hi Rosly, There are two ways to do this. #1 is the user memory as long as your last weight reading is within 6.6 lbs AND there is not another user within 6.6 lbs of your weight. Or #2 you can select your user number with the arrow keys. Step off the scale and use the up or down arrow keys to select memory number (P1-P8). Wait for the screen to show 0.0 and stop back on the scale. If you still have additional questions, please reach back out. Thanks!

What a joke, just wt, flawed BCA
Only shows correct weight. All their tech behind doing the BCA is a joke. For a person who's had BCAs done since years, shows a BMI +7 of actual. Generally my SMM is 42-44%, shows 17.7%. So basically, this thing doesn't know my height, whatever current it sends in the body isn't getting anywhere. Just gives you a number to play around with and maybe people who don't understand how BCA is done or first times find it good to know. Just guestimation. Will return.

Works well but took a little time initially
When I first brought this scale home, it gave me very different weights on each try, and I couldn't get it to measure body composition at all. I kept turning it off and resetting it, and still no success. So I was going to take it back, but for some reason I tried it again the next morning. Apparently it needed time to get set for my body (?)-- it has worked perfectly and consistently ever since. If you buy it and have trouble with it, give it a chance.

Tells your weight for a 10th of a second!
It only shows my weight for a 10th of second. And then goes on to show you all this other information that I don't care about including what I previously weighed and how much I've lost. I don't want to have to do math! I just want to know how much I weigh. So I'm taking a back because it's just too complicated!

Scaleable Vlaue
Have only had the scale for a week but have found it to be accurate. It is lightweight but made of quality materials. I like the electronic measuring strips going across the scale horizontally rather than my last model going vertically. I find it easier to place my footing. The BMI, Water, Fat, Muscle measurements are consistant and seem accurate compared to last doctors' visit. I like how they repeat across the screen more than once for recording and I like the fact that the weight compares progress or lack there of to the previous time I stepped on the scales. I would recommend this scale over the last one which was branded by a national weight loss program--WOW:)
