@mrsradcliffe4th Stopped by Target this morning (surprise, surprise 😏) and this adorable picture book caught my attention! In the story, “Grumpy Monkey” Jim Panzee wakes up in a terrible mood and he cannot figure out why. To the dismay of his friends, none of their efforts can cheer him up! By the end of the story, Jim Panzee and his friends realize that sometimes it’s ok to just feel a bit grumpy. I plan on incorporating this cute picture book into my morning meetings as an SEL read aloud. I love how this story shows that it is ok—and completely normal—to experience a wide range of emotions!
