Instant Pot 6qt Pro Pressure Cooker

received a dent instant pot pro. I wish I could like it but I had to return this. Can instant pot company warp their product keep them safely.

This pot only goes for one hour. The stainless steel insert pot does not clean up well. It has a poor quality finish onside do you have to s rub the daylights out of it to get it clean. The cord is no longer detachable.which makes it a nightmare to store and contain. I do not recommend thus version.

The product is of poor quality, and after a year, the company shows no concern for damaged sensors. Mine broke within that time frame, and when I reached out to customer service, they advised me to discard the entire product. Instead of offering a replacement for the product (sensor), they expect you to purchase a new unit. I am so disappointed with this company. I need my full refund or do replacement asap:(

The steam release valve was missing from our cooker when we unboxed it, but it was a gift so we have no proof of purchase or purchase date . Customer service will not send us another and they are out of stock/unavailable to buy. Without the value, it is useless junk

When the pressure release valve will fail (and it will) the only option will be to replace the entire machine because this small 2 inches piece is not available anywhere. I don't think it is a good marketing strategy. Hey! Instant Pot, are you aware of the state of the planet?

I haven't even used it for the first time and am already disappointed. Upon opening the box and the cooker I find the markings only go to 5L which is 5.28 quarts. The max fill line is marked at 4qt. It's not important to me how much air the thing can hold. Instant Pot would sell more 8qt cookers if they were clear and honest about capacity.

Please do not buy this model. I have barely used it and the steam valve stopped working. Like others have mentioned the replacement parts aren't available either. Waste of money.

Same problem then Jennifer. The valve is broken and it is impossible to order a new one even on Amazon. No other options then throw away the product.

Within 2 years it had issues with the display screen and buttons not working. It has turned out to be faulty. It is clear that the product is not functioning properly and is not meeting the standards you have promised.I have contacted the instant pot customer service team numerous times regarding this issue, and to my dismay, I have been repeatedly informed that there are no repair services available and no assistance will be provided after warranty is over. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially when the fault lies with the product itself.As a customer of your brand, I expected better quality and service.I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Do not buy this instant pot, you will not be getting any service or support.

I have a few suggestions to Instant Pot. Please put all components we need to access on the front, i.e. overflow cup., valve to shut or release. We can't see the overflow cup overflowing when it is on the back of the device. The valve to shut or release would be easier to access on the front. Could you please incorporate a small rotatable directional port for the steam release and a hard plastic handle near the bottom of the Pot for stacking the lid? The handles near the top are great for stacking the lid but most cabinets are too low to provide enough space to make use of them. Do you have a device such as a pot lifter to get the inner liner out? In your terms and conditions, it would be nice if you would include that you will not sell our information - i.e. email address. Thanks for a great product!

I wish they'd make a instant pot that made ice cream I would buy it

I have been a long time lover of Instant Pot. I have owned several pressure cookers from them. I always have at least 2 of them in my kitchen. I have gotten years of trouble free use out of them I have turned many friends on to buying them. I upgraded to the Pro Plus because of the canning feature. I have had issues with this one from the start but it at least functioned, until it didn't. It gets stuck on pre-heat and never starts the countdown even after it comes up to pressure. I reached out to customer service and they had me do some tests. They asked me to send a pic of my heating element (which has had nothing spilled on it but has some discoloration from basic use). They said it's my fault that it doesn't function properly because of the discoloration on the heating element (again nothing was ever spilled on the element ever and in no way has it been mistreated or abused). They refused to do anything about it. So now my most expensive instant pot is trash after barely a year of light use. I am disappointed and saddened that after such loyalty as a customer that there is none from customer service.

I use the instant pot weekly to make soy yogurt and soy milk for making tofu. works like a charm. My wife uses it for beans which we eat on a regular basis. The yogurt function is a big plus as I set it to low and 14 hours, comes out perfect every time. Saves me a lot of time from cooking over a hot stove especially in the summer. The only issue I've had is the wire that holds the seal in place has come lose on one of the welded spot. it does seal just fine though, so no issues so far. A great kitchen appliance and worth every penny.

Absolutely dislike this machine. I have had it about 10 months. It refuses to work as advertised. I have the Duo with the Ultimate lid. Whatever is supposed to detect the lid ... apparently doesn't work. I have stuck with it and tried to follow all instruction exactly. To Airfry , you have to remove the lid insert. I removed it. The instructions for a full chicken said to pre-heat to 360. I set it and it worked just fine... now it is time to put the chicken breast down in the wire basket and airfry for 25 minutes -- then turn and air fry for another 25 minutes. So I put the chicken in and tapped airfry and it will do nothing but tell me to remove the pressure lid which was still in the same place on the counter it had been from the start. NOTHING I did would help. I opened and reclosed the lid, I unplugged it and plugged it back in tried again... REMOVE THE PRESSURE LID. This is the second time I had this problem. My impression was that this would HELP... but it doesn't. I wasted $150 PLUS accessories that I purchased. It doesn't release when pressure cooking... book says approximately xx number of minutes and 30 minutes later it releases ... meanwhile everything else is overcooked or cold. I am sick of it. I've given it all the attention it is going to get from me. I suggest you spend your money on a nice meal because you will waste a lot of time trying to make one with this.

If your InstantPot Pro's steam release velve got damaged for some reason, you will never find the replacement unit at any places in the market, the company needs to list InstantPot Pro's accessories online for customers.

The products work wonderfully and Customer service has been on point at fast

Terrible product. I've ruined more meals than I've been I've been able to eat in it. Slow cooker mode wouldn't get up to temperature even after heating ingredients on stove top first. Pressure cooker mode burned everything I tried to make and again had to finish on stove top. I've never been more disappointed in a kitchen product.

If you're in the market for a new instant pot look no further. This thing is amazing, and it's gigantic. You can cook just about anything you want in here. It's extremely easy to operate and cooks food in no time!
