The steam release valve was missing from our cooker when we unboxed it, but it was a gift so we have no proof of purchase or purchase date . Customer service will not send us another and they are out of stock/unavailable to buy. Without the value, it is useless junk

I haven't even used it for the first time and am already disappointed. Upon opening the box and the cooker I find the markings only go to 5L which is 5.28 quarts. The max fill line is marked at 4qt. It's not important to me how much air the thing can hold. Instant Pot would sell more 8qt cookers if they were clear and honest about capacity.

Please do not buy this model. I have barely used it and the steam valve stopped working. Like others have mentioned the replacement parts aren't available either. Waste of money.

Within 2 years it had issues with the display screen and buttons not working. It has turned out to be faulty. It is clear that the product is not functioning properly and is not meeting the standards you have promised.I have contacted the instant pot customer service team numerous times regarding this issue, and to my dismay, I have been repeatedly informed that there are no repair services available and no assistance will be provided after warranty is over. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially when the fault lies with the product itself.As a customer of your brand, I expected better quality and service.I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Do not buy this instant pot, you will not be getting any service or support.

I have a few suggestions to Instant Pot. Please put all components we need to access on the front, i.e. overflow cup., valve to shut or release. We can't see the overflow cup overflowing when it is on the back of the device. The valve to shut or release would be easier to access on the front. Could you please incorporate a small rotatable directional port for the steam release and a hard plastic handle near the bottom of the Pot for stacking the lid? The handles near the top are great for stacking the lid but most cabinets are too low to provide enough space to make use of them. Do you have a device such as a pot lifter to get the inner liner out? In your terms and conditions, it would be nice if you would include that you will not sell our information - i.e. email address. Thanks for a great product!

I use the instant pot weekly to make soy yogurt and soy milk for making tofu. works like a charm. My wife uses it for beans which we eat on a regular basis. The yogurt function is a big plus as I set it to low and 14 hours, comes out perfect every time. Saves me a lot of time from cooking over a hot stove especially in the summer. The only issue I've had is the wire that holds the seal in place has come lose on one of the welded spot. it does seal just fine though, so no issues so far. A great kitchen appliance and worth every penny.

Absolutely dislike this machine. I have had it about 10 months. It refuses to work as advertised. I have the Duo with the Ultimate lid. Whatever is supposed to detect the lid ... apparently doesn't work. I have stuck with it and tried to follow all instruction exactly. To Airfry , you have to remove the lid insert. I removed it. The instructions for a full chicken said to pre-heat to 360. I set it and it worked just fine... now it is time to put the chicken breast down in the wire basket and airfry for 25 minutes -- then turn and air fry for another 25 minutes. So I put the chicken in and tapped airfry and it will do nothing but tell me to remove the pressure lid which was still in the same place on the counter it had been from the start. NOTHING I did would help. I opened and reclosed the lid, I unplugged it and plugged it back in tried again... REMOVE THE PRESSURE LID. This is the second time I had this problem. My impression was that this would HELP... but it doesn't. I wasted $150 PLUS accessories that I purchased. It doesn't release when pressure cooking... book says approximately xx number of minutes and 30 minutes later it releases ... meanwhile everything else is overcooked or cold. I am sick of it. I've given it all the attention it is going to get from me. I suggest you spend your money on a nice meal because you will waste a lot of time trying to make one with this.

Terrible product. I've ruined more meals than I've been I've been able to eat in it. Slow cooker mode wouldn't get up to temperature even after heating ingredients on stove top first. Pressure cooker mode burned everything I tried to make and again had to finish on stove top. I've never been more disappointed in a kitchen product.

I am really ecstatic about this Instant Pot Pro multi-use pressure cooker! I found it very easy to use and the product design was well made. Thus far, I have used this pressure cooker for pressurized cooking and baking. For pressure cooking, I made a roast beef that came out so perfect and tender in around an hour time (I also managed to fit two roast beefs in there). In the baking setting, I made bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast and they came out tender, juicy, and crispy. I am so excited to try all the different uses of this pressure cooker! Cleanup was also very easy which is another plus. Overall, of course I would recommend this pressure cooker for it's versality but also quality and user-friendliness!!

The only downfall of this appliance, is you will find that you don't need any of the others you purchased. First, it comes with a manual and the programable front panel pretty much easily walks you through it. Second, it seals great. And finally cleaning. The stainless steel cooking pot and lid are dishwasher safe. Although I have not attempted putting the lid into the dishwasher because the experience I have had with other pressure cookers left me replacing all seals, but they say it is safe. . I Having a kitchen appliance as fast and versatile as this, makes home-cooked meals a breeze.

I don't think I have ever loved a cooking pot so much in my life. This instant is exceptional. I haven't found something I couldn't do on it yet. I have been using it every other day . Super easy to use. Has a stainless steel cooking pot inside. I love the design and all the programs on it. It has 20% higher power allowing it to heat faster and cook in less time. Just some of the things you can do is slow cook, pasta, soup, yogurt, chicken, beef, cheesecake, beans, rice, bread, and even more. The possibilities never end. It has 28 one touch cooking programs. Yes I said 28. Easy to grab handles so not to burn your hands. Dishwasher safe. It's 6 quart so perfect size. Quiet safe release. This thing even has over 11 safety features. It's like having 10 cookers in 1 . I highly recommend this pot. It makes my life so much easier. You can even program your favorites in it. I love it so much and so will you. Super fantastic quality and great value.

The Instant Pot Pro has exceeded all my expecations with how many features and functions. (Yogurt, Sous Vide, Slow Cooking, Steaming, Rice, Saute, and the expected Pressure Cooking). It has an easily removable cook-to-serve bowl which is great...also its dishwasher safe. Everything so far that I have cooked in it has turned out amazing!
