Love the handles on the inner pot!

Excellent pressure cooker, almost perfect. It’s not completely flawless because of one problem: the labelled capacity is wrong! When you buy a 6qt pan, you expect it to be that size, but unfortunately, the actual capacity is 4qt for pressure cooking and 5qt for regular cooking. It’s a shame, I felt deceived! But yes, it’s an amazing pan.

received a dent instant pot pro. I wish I could like it but I had to return this. Can instant pot company warp their product keep them safely.

This pot only goes for one hour. The stainless steel insert pot does not clean up well. It has a poor quality finish onside do you have to s rub the daylights out of it to get it clean. The cord is no longer detachable.which makes it a nightmare to store and contain. I do not recommend thus version.

The product is of poor quality, and after a year, the company shows no concern for damaged sensors. Mine broke within that time frame, and when I reached out to customer service, they advised me to discard the entire product. Instead of offering a replacement for the product (sensor), they expect you to purchase a new unit. I am so disappointed with this company. I need my full refund or do replacement asap:(

The steam release valve was missing from our cooker when we unboxed it, but it was a gift so we have no proof of purchase or purchase date . Customer service will not send us another and they are out of stock/unavailable to buy. Without the value, it is useless junk

Title says it all. Like many other reviewers, the pressure release valve on my IP stopped working at 14 months. What a waste of money. Slow cooker feature doesn't work either. My first IP (different model) has worked for 6+ years and still works like a champ, but I wanted a larger model and liked how this one vented. I regret buying this. Very disappointed!

When the pressure release valve will fail (and it will) the only option will be to replace the entire machine because this small 2 inches piece is not available anywhere. I don't think it is a good marketing strategy. Hey! Instant Pot, are you aware of the state of the planet?

I haven't even used it for the first time and am already disappointed. Upon opening the box and the cooker I find the markings only go to 5L which is 5.28 quarts. The max fill line is marked at 4qt. It's not important to me how much air the thing can hold. Instant Pot would sell more 8qt cookers if they were clear and honest about capacity.

Did not come with a pressure release valve weight. Not useable without it. Waste of time ordering to Alaska. Took forever to get here and was refunded but have to re-order & throw this one away- seems like such a waste for such a small problem.

Waste of money...Here's whyFor the amount of money it costs, you won't get most out of it. My pot keeps giving C8 error constantly. I unplug, wait and start again. Randomly after 4-5 times it may work. Also, the ring you buy to replace doesn't seal well even though it is their own brand

Please do not buy this model. I have barely used it and the steam valve stopped working. Like others have mentioned the replacement parts aren't available either. Waste of money.

Same problem then Jennifer. The valve is broken and it is impossible to order a new one even on Amazon. No other options then throw away the product.

Won't stay on. Was a gift & never used. It won't stay on. I tried to chat with an expert & they kept blocking me.

Within 2 years it had issues with the display screen and buttons not working. It has turned out to be faulty. It is clear that the product is not functioning properly and is not meeting the standards you have promised.I have contacted the instant pot customer service team numerous times regarding this issue, and to my dismay, I have been repeatedly informed that there are no repair services available and no assistance will be provided after warranty is over. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially when the fault lies with the product itself.As a customer of your brand, I expected better quality and service.I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Do not buy this instant pot, you will not be getting any service or support.

I have a few suggestions to Instant Pot. Please put all components we need to access on the front, i.e. overflow cup., valve to shut or release. We can't see the overflow cup overflowing when it is on the back of the device. The valve to shut or release would be easier to access on the front. Could you please incorporate a small rotatable directional port for the steam release and a hard plastic handle near the bottom of the Pot for stacking the lid? The handles near the top are great for stacking the lid but most cabinets are too low to provide enough space to make use of them. Do you have a device such as a pot lifter to get the inner liner out? In your terms and conditions, it would be nice if you would include that you will not sell our information - i.e. email address. Thanks for a great product!

I wish they'd make a instant pot that made ice cream I would buy it

I have been a long time lover of Instant Pot. I have owned several pressure cookers from them. I always have at least 2 of them in my kitchen. I have gotten years of trouble free use out of them I have turned many friends on to buying them. I upgraded to the Pro Plus because of the canning feature. I have had issues with this one from the start but it at least functioned, until it didn't. It gets stuck on pre-heat and never starts the countdown even after it comes up to pressure. I reached out to customer service and they had me do some tests. They asked me to send a pic of my heating element (which has had nothing spilled on it but has some discoloration from basic use). They said it's my fault that it doesn't function properly because of the discoloration on the heating element (again nothing was ever spilled on the element ever and in no way has it been mistreated or abused). They refused to do anything about it. So now my most expensive instant pot is trash after barely a year of light use. I am disappointed and saddened that after such loyalty as a customer that there is none from customer service.
