I can now eliminate probably 2-3 large appliances and use this instead! I love that it pressure cooks AND slow cooks, so it works if I have a short amount of time or all day to prepare dinner for my family. I haven't made yogurt yet, but that's my next cooking adventure with my new Instant Pot!

Instant pot has failed its customers with this pot. It does not seal at all, I tried everything to make it build pressure and seal with no results. So so so disappointed!!!! Money in the trash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT for a few weeks now, and it's become one of my most-used kitchen appliances. The large 8-quart size is perfect for family meals or meal prepping for the week. It handles everything from soups and stews to rice and yogurt without a problem. I love that it cuts cooking time way down while still producing tender, flavorful food. The interface is simple to use, and the multiple functions mean I can replace several other small appliances. Cleanup is also quick — the stainless steel pot comes out spotless after a rinse. The only downside is the lid takes a little getting used to, but once you learn the routine, it's easy. Overall, an excellent purchase that makes weeknight cooking stress-free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The preheating setting stayed on for a quite a very long time and that's what really disappointed me. Not sure why spots stayed on my pot even after washing it but other than that the heating setting work fine and cooks well. I'll be using it very often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've made rice and pot roast in here when I got it I didn't think it was a crockpot also I thought it was just rice but I've used it every night and I highly recommend. It is a little big and don't fit in my cabinets so I have to leave it on the counter. It has a lot of different cook settings which hopefully I'll be able to try some new dinner ideas with.

This pot just isn't working to my liking. The inside steel pot is curved on bottom which makes oil run into the sides and difficult to saute in oil. Just disappointment. Would like to return.

Very hard to seal. Not good for me .i made a soup fo an hour. No handbook how to seal it. Sorry wasn't good for me.

This is a report from last Sunday, I used this product, I did not know how to use it so I gave it a try. Started with slow cook, mistake, however. After a day and a half I was prompted to open the lid. I taste it, wow was a delicious chicken, potatoes, vegetables stew. I used only water and salt. I called today for support. I received nothing but superb support. NOW I know how to use this pot and I am now using pressure cook for 20 minutes. I can assure you this is a good buy, despite the fact it is kind of odd to use it. Trust me to save money and cook a lot for hungry military guys like me it is worth it 100%

We've had this pot for 6 months and it's terrible compared to our Duo Evo Plus. I've tried rice & quinoa as pot in pot and it's never cooked using the times from our other pot. It's too complicated to figure out how to make yogurt. It's basically only good for sous vide. I'm so disappointed in Instant Pot. While this is newer it feels not as powerful to cook in as our older Duo Evo Plus

My Daughter in=law has a Birthday coming up. I had bought that for her(INSTA-POT! She likes to cook so I hope she likes to clean up the messes cause that I am not taking care of that! Lol

I have a basic 6 quart Instant Pot that I love but wanted to have a bigger one to fit all the ingredients when making soups or ribs. I was intrigued by the concept of quiet release. The upgrade is worth it for the extra room and quiet release. There's still noise but it's not going to scare your guests away. I love the look, too. The only down side is that the tabs on the top part isn't directly centered like the other models. You'll have to move the cover a little to the side to insert it into the slot to rest your cover on the side of the Instant Pot. It's a not a big deal, I just need to break my habit from my previous Instant Pot.
