Though this was not a first time purchase, I felt compelled to write a review. I have close to 30 of these boxes that are used in our basement storage as well as garage. They lock in four places which keeps them water resistant and they stay closed. The capacity is large enough for out of season sports equipment, holiday supplies, out of season clothing or whatever else you need. Highly recommended!

there is something wrong with this plastic. despite regular cleaning and an attempt to get rid of the stench the inside of the containers smell very very bad and get worse over time. i had to throw away the soft surfaces i kept in them because the smell got into them and couldn't be removed. worked great at first when it wasn't noticeable, and if it weren't for this these would be perfect. i have a bunch of these that i wish i could return but they are past the window.

First, thank you Target for the amazingly quick delivery. So helpful. Unfortunately, these are going back and I will have to find something else. False advertising - these are not even close to airtight (see pic - there are multiple gaps between the foam and the bin when latches are closed) and will not work to protect belongings from small pests like mites or carpet beetles. They seem ok quality otherwise but if you don't need airtight sealing, these are just way overpriced.
