BATTERY LIFE IS GARBAGE

Supposed to have 10+ hours of playtime.. I can get maybe 3-4 TOPS before it dies on me. I make sure it has a full charge but it’s pretty much useless. Wasted my money.

The time provided is up to, and how long the battery lasts is determined by volume and source content. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Also, All batteries, over time, will slowly wear down, and battery playtime also decreases as the battery ages. If you need more help, please contact our customer support to assist you further with your concern.

Don't Buy!!!!

This is the worst speaker I have ever had the displeasure of spending my hard-earned money on. Dies after 3-3.5 hours.

Thank you for sharing us your experience with our JBL Flip 7. It has a published up-to playtime of up to 16 hours which is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Battery playtime also decreases as the battery ages and all batteries, over time, will slowly wear down. Charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. Never Again

I charge the battery over night and it still dies while I’m at work even while plugged in. The battery sucks. This happened to my last JBL so I bought this new one. Won’t be buying another ever again.

The bass is amazing and it's sturdy.

I bought a JBL Flip 7 in Japan. The sound was excellent, with outstanding bass. When I opened it up, I found a tweeter for the high frequencies and a woofer for the low frequencies. The strap was also sturdy and didn't break even when I swung it around a lot, dropped it on the ground, or put it in water. It was a very good purchase. If you want to buy a Flip cheaply, I recommend buying the ESSENTIAL series or the Flip 6, which is currently very cheap.

Great boombox and high quality sound

Finally got my Flip 7 and i love it and use it all the time for listening to music in my room, fantastic sound quality and so much better sound quality than my UE Boom and its smaller than my UE boom too! Such an awesome lil boombox! Would love it even more if i could turn it on remotely with my phone like i could with my UE boom as its a bit annoying to have to go over to it to turn it on but other than that flaw with it id highly recommend it for anyone that likes listening to their music in lossless quality and dancing/jamming out or even for nice background tunes with fantastic sound definitely the best sounding boombox ive ever owned! Absolutely love the fact it uses USB-C charger too thats amazing as well, i do wish it would have a cover for the charge port though to prevent grot/water getting it wet or damaged though, thats what my headphones and other portable small boombox brands do because if it can get wet it can definitely also get grotty or damaged and having a nice silicone/rubbery sealing cover for it would make it even better for those unfortunate bumps that may end up with grot and mud in the port which can happen. Thats my feedback on the flip 7 and what my thoughts and opinions are on it and what could potentially be improved to make it work better for people who dont always have it near them and make the future flip 8 more accident/damage proof other than that fantastic boombox and exactly what i wanted and expected!

Small and loud, easy to use

I bought this to be used by the pool, it's waterproof and i don't have a worry of it getting damaged. It's small enough to throw in a bag and while the bass is loud it's very clear. Used it at least 20 hours and haven't recahrged it yet.

Only Lasts 4 Hours

This only lasts for 4 hours, not 14-16 as advertised. Very disappointing when you purchase it to host a full day party, and it turns off mid party.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve only had this JBL speaker for two days, but I’m already impressed. I haven’t even needed to charge it yet, and the battery life has been excellent. The sound is clear, the bass is powerful, and it gets plenty loud. It’s easy to use and feels very well made. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Poor Paint Quality

Speaker is great but the paint has started to rub off. Ive only used the speaker 10-15 times and ive noticed chips of paint coming off.

Head and shoulders above the rest.

Bought my JBL Flip 7 in red 2 weeks ago on the recommendation from my brother in law who is a musician and has multiple JBL speakers. I have to say he was not wrong I bought other Bluetooth speakers and they were ok but this was head and shoulders above the others. I managed to get a great deal too with the current discount and my bluelight card.
