  • A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Vibe Beam 2 has a "Find My Buds" feature, wherein you can locate missing earbuds by getting a notification on the location and time of last use. You can also activate "ring" to receive a ring notification on your device when the earbuds are in range through the JBL headphone app. However, if you’re referring to tracking the earbuds and charging case through GPS or location tracking, our Vibe Beam 2 does not have that feature.

The earbuds can only be charged by putting them inside the charging case which can be plugged into a power outlet. Alternatively, you can check out our JBL Live Pro 2 TWS or JBL Live Free 2 TWS, as these models are Qi-compatible for wireless chargers. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

    Don't buy if you have small ears!

    I bought these a few weeks ago and have been trying consistently to wear them- sitting at my desk, running, walking, etc. I have very small ears, and the ear buds just won't stay in. Even sitting still at my desk, if I move my head just to look down, the ear buds fall out. The sounds quality is fine, but it's very frustrating that I can't even sit wearing them, much less go on a run like I had hoped! I doubt this is an issue for people with larger ears, just be warned if you have small ears! Additionally, when I am on a phone call they will suddenly get very quiet, even if I am on maximum volume.

    Survived a Bus

    I bought this for my boyfriend and he is very clumsy. So when he opened the box, the case flew out into the new york busy street. A bus went on top of the case and the whole force of a bus ran over the case... and it still works. My boyfriend has been using it for three weeks and nothing is wrong with it. The build quality is so good.

    Thanks for your feedback. If the left earbud has no light, please try cleaning the contact pins with a cotton swab and alcohol to ensure proper charging. If the left earbud is blinking blue, please reset them by tapping either earbud three times, holding the third tap for 5 seconds until the earbuds turn off.     Good fit. Disappointing sound quality. Lousy ANC.

    I recently bought these on sale with modest expectations. Unfortunately, I am generally disappointed. The fit and feel of these is good, and the wireless connection & touch control seems to work well enough. My disappointment is focused around the sound and ANC. Audio quality isn't very good for anything but podcasts, and the EQ function doesn't improve things sufficiently for me to want to listen to music with these. With the ANC, I'm unable to discern any difference in ambient noise when ANC is enabled vs. disabled (maybe mine is defective?). The Smart Ambient feature adds significant background white noise, while providing only minimal increase in ambient volume - so I don't see myself ever using it. I would not recommend these other than for the most basic listening needs, if you get them significantly discounted.

    Poor bass and ANC doesn’t work.

    I’ve been using these a few days and found them pretty poor. First off, I can’t get any bass out of these without cranking the EQ in the app to extreme bass. Second, the ANC is not working at all. I don’t notice a difference with it on or off.

    Thanks for your feedback. Our products use the default JBL EQ settings. If you prefer more bass, you need to adjust the EQ in the JBL Headphones app. For the noise-cancelling feature, we recommend trying our JBL Fit Checker tool with the "Check My Best Fit" option to see if it helps.

    Decent if your not in a noisy area

    Sound is clear but no where near as loud as I expected and the noise cancellation is almost nonexistent. I use these while mowing and can barely hear them over the mower. Far cry from my last set of AirPod pros

    No bass, noise canceling doesnt work

    There’s absolutely no bass unless you use the equalizer to set it to extreme bass. Also, the active noise canceling simply doesn’t work. You can turn it on and off and won’t notice a difference.

    I have the previous model and honestly I was disappointed by the upgrade or version 2 the earbud gummy are way smaller and keep slipping out of my ear and overall they're not loud enough even after customizing the eq on the app

To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal.     Waterproof ?

    I found mine one day in the dryer while I was drying clothes. They were in the case and were making a loud noise as they banged the dryer walls. So they probably survived a washing cycle as well ! I thought they would have been damaged but both the case and earbuds were working perfectly, I couldn’t believe it. Would strongly recommend. Oh and they sound great, that classic JBL quality sound.

    Pros: Big sound in a little package. JBL is good at delivering good sound quality for relatively low price. Cons: ANC. ANC. And ANC. This JBL has Ambient Noise Control n or ANC which allows users to either turn on noise suppression or let in ambient noise. Good idea in theory, but in practice this means every time you turn on the headphones, it sounds like someone is blowing air into your ear on top of whatever music, podcast, audiobook you're listening to. You can manually turn it off, but you have to do so every. Single. Time. An easy fix would be to have a setting where you can change the default mode, but this does not exist. It's not the end of the world, but it's impressively annoying to have to change a setting every time one uses a headphone, and something I wish I knew before purchasing.

    Get them!

    These are great! They are loud and clear & I can accept calls and talk through them. They are so worth it. They also stay in your ear pretty well, they haven’t fell out while I work.

    First, I’ll start with what I didn’t like… They do feel a little cheap. The sound quality is so so but not bad and the volume level is not great. The good is that it’s an exceptional value for the quality and JBL does no sound. let’s not kill each other. They are now owned by Harmon Kardon . At $40 which is what I paid in September 2025 they are definitely a great value, especially that has the noise canceling and other superior features that you’ll only find in buds costing 3,4 even 10 times as much. so if you’re on a budget, I can’t afford those B&O’‘s then this might be a good call..
