This was the first time in years that I used boxed color and I am disappointed. The application was easy, the foam is definitely a benefit. But the color outcome? Disappointment. My hair was already brunette and had a hint of red that is natural, with grays near the roots and along my face. The gray along my face is stubborn, so did extra time. The coloring came out bland. It made my roots somewhat match, not really covering the grays along the face at all, just making them a tiny bit darker. the rest of my hair is a dull ashy brown, and I mean dull. Upside: my hair is shiny and not brittle. But yeah, disappointed.

Pros: I like that it’s foam so it’s not as messy. It’s is also easy to mix. Cons: it does not cover my grays that well. I saturate the area where my grays are and let it sit for the amount it says, and they are still there when I rinse and dry.

I just started getting grey hairs thanks to vitamin/ mineral deficiencies. Too many to pick at this point. I tried to dye them using other dyes and found out not all dyes are created equal. This one is so simple and quick and mess free, no weird smells or reactions or burning, and NO grays! Love it!! Swear by it!

It was okay! Application was easy and I didn’t have issues with the product dripping everywhere. It’s not quite as pigmented as I expected, though. I have just a couple of gray hairs and noticed then sparkling among the rest of my dark hair after applying as directed. Some areas that were maybe a level 5 red are still kind of noticeable so I’ll need to do some more color correction there. I think this will work best on no red in your hair and no gray coverage.

The only positive is the easy application. The conditioner that was provided left my hair feeling extremely dry and dull. I’ve never had that happen with any box dye. I followed instructions for grey coverage (about 1” of growth) and it didn’t color my grey hair at all! Felt like a waste to buy.

My hair didn’t get much of the color and I had red hair. The conditioner just left my hair as dry as when I took off the dye, waste of money should’ve gotten a cheaper brand and it would’ve done the job and left my hair softer….

I have quite a bit of hair and I usually have to buy two boxes of hair dye to ensure that everything is colored but for some reason, the foam only required me to get one box (I have mid back length, wavy semi-thick hair). Color came out absolutely gorgeous, only downside is that the vibrance of the color faded after about a week.

Did not cover my brown hair. I’ve been coloring my hair black for years and my hair is naturally brown. I followed the instructions to a T and it did not cover my brown roots at all.
