Q: None of the buttons work on the machine (like strength size, favorite, etc. I can push hot water for a brew but can't increase strength or temp. nor can I use the over ice feature. how do those work

Has all the buttons to make a perfect cup of coffee. You can choose different cup sizes, how hot you want the coffee and the strength. You can also save your favorite cup to use again and again. It works fantastic over and over again. I just hope the coffee maker lasts as it’s a perfect appliance for our kitchen.

This is a great Keurig coffee maker. Works as expected. However if you prefer a Keurig without the "bells and whistles", the other Keurig models are great also. I've tried most of them.

My older Keurig (this model in black) wore out after hard use since I work from home. When presented with this chrome version, I knew this was the one. What I love about this model: 1) The water carafe with lid. I only use filtered water from our refrigerator, so I can fill it totally up, put on the lid, and take it back to the coffee maker. 2) The removable cup tray let's me fill up a travel mug without needing to brew it in a regular coffee cup and then pour (with spilling some) it into the mug. 3) Favorites setting! One button and brewing starts with it set just the way I like it! 4) Removable K-cup holder. I like to use the optional K-cup that you can fill with your coffee--not using a per-filled K-cup you purchase. I don't use it all the time, but love the option I can use my own coffee! 5) Small footprint! This is my 4th Keurig and this footprint is so much smaller. It takes up less counter space and I think the height is maybe a little taller. Opening the K-cup lid is not an issue for me, even tucked under our upper cabinets.
