I just recieved this product. while putting it on my mattress it ripped easily when sipping it up. Now I have to fix it because I need it and Target doesn't have it in stock. It's plastic and appears it would work. Just disappointed in it ripping so easily.

Worst ever! Horribly made, your fingers go right thru them when you are placing them on the mattress. Plastic so thin. Why bother! Just awful. Had to use tape to cover up holes! They do not even fit correctly!!! Very dissatisfied

Waterproof so far!
I bought this cover (2 actually) hoping they'd be plastic and I was pleased that they were! I have two small children not nighttime potty trained. I had some very dirty mattresses from many many stains. So I bought new mattresses and new covers wanting these to last much longer and be completely protected. We are 3 accidents in and no sign of moisture to the mattress! They wipe off easy with a wipe or wet rag. They *are* a bit crinkle-y sounding, but I don't mind compared to cleaning a mattress.. They are also a bit long. The label said it would fit a twin/twin xl and I'm sure it would - it is plenty long enough on the 8" and 10" twin mattresses I have.
