Poor sevice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mixes in April. It sounds like there are rocks rolling around ,and speed control is not working proper. I called the warranty line. Tould them I have used this mixer a few times.But because the mixer is in our bakery (regardless of what it is used for) the warranty is void. I have numerous kitchen aid products . But when I asked the rep about standing by the kitchen aid product. He mentioned the integrity of the policy's and not about there product itself. I then asked if kitchen aid wanted me to become a Bosch product owner and the rep more or less said yes. Very disappointed.

I I am so happy with my new kitchen aid mixer. I've wanted one for a long time and finally made the purchase. I love the pistachio color. I think that the color is much more attractive in person than what is shown in the stock picture, which is a little lime greenish. The color in person is more of a very very light sage.

Refurbished stand mixer seems like new
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer isn't going to sit out in view in my kitchen (in my 2nd home) so I didn't care what color it was - I was looking for a bargain. Even though I considered buying any number of other brands (for a lot less money) I decided that KitchenAid has been a good, solid, reliable brand for decades. So, I purchased the less expensive KitchenAid (maybe it's cheaper because of the unusual color). Have used it a few times so far and it seems fine. When it came out of the shipping box it had some goopy oil that had dripped from the motor area and had spread in several places, but it cleaned up easily. Very happy so far.

Refurbished Mixer Broke After First Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my refurbished artisan stand mixer once to make meringue for a batch of macarons. As it was mixing I noticed the speed handle started to spark and when I turned it off, I couldn't get it to turn back on again. It seems like there were electrical problems that probably caused it to be refurbished in the first place. Since the warranty was voided as a refurbished product, I ended up buying a brand new stand mixer from a physical store.
