Description
Just like The One Signature Shampoo, this formula cleanses without stripping, restores shine and adds volume but this formula contains zero fragrance. I know fragrance is subjective and I always want to provide something for everyone, so here it is!
How to: 1. Depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime, quarter or silver dollar-sized amount of shampoo into your palm. 2. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather. 3. Rise thoroughly and repeat if necessary. Tip: If my hair is extra oily or has a lot of product in it, I like to shampoo twice.
cruelty free | color + keratin safe | vegan free of added fragrance, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones + gluten

Q: Does this Shampoo try out your hair
submitted by Anna - 3 years ago
A: Several reviewers have stated that it does not dry out their hair.
I really wanted to like this one but unfortunately I experienced the same like many here. Heavy dandruff, itchy bumpy scalp.. It didn’t work for me but I’m glad that really works for others.

I do not even want to give this a star. Yeah right for clarifying shampoo! It has completely destroyed my scalp, created so much dryness and buildup on my scalp. Itchy and chunks of buildup coming off my scalp. I scrub my scalp and make sure I rinse thoroughly. I wanted something to help when I had a heavy product day and this completely ruined my scalp health!

This shampoo is incredibly drying to my naturally very oily hair. I’ve also started to notice a significant amount of shedding that I’ve never experienced before and my hair is noticeably thinner. Since this is the only change to my hair care routine, it’s pretty obvious that this shampoo is causing some serious damage. Don’t bother with it.

Worst shampoo ever! My hair was healthy until I used it and it came out in clumps in the shower on the first use. My hair has never shed this much during a wash. Super disappointed in this product and hope my hair will recover… Stay away if you value your hair.

I used to really like this even though I thought it smelled weird. But I recently repurchased it after not purchasing it in over a year and it gave me a horrible rash all over my scalp, neck, and ears! Formula must have changed. Also didn’t condition my hair as well as I remembered.

Caused my wife hairloss.....clumps and clumps at a time. Super drying. Steer clear of this 'clean-washed' shampoo/conditioner.

I’ve been using the Kristin Ess fragrance free shampoo for about 3 weeks now. With a mix of eczema prone skin, hair loss and protein sensitivity this shampoo exceeded my expectations. I have fine wavy hair so the more the slip the better. Since this is a clarifying shampoo I have to be careful to not tangle my hair.

Love how clean it makes my hair. Having an oily scalp, there’s not a lot of good shampoos that don’t contain fragrance and can give me two/three days between washes. This bottle lasts forever. Our family loves it.

I’ve used the Kristen Ess Signature shampoo and conditioner, it worked great but I noticed I couldn’t wash my hair with it but myself once or twice a week or it would dry my hair out. So wanted something I could use more often that didn’t dry my hair out so easily. After using this shampoo and conditioner, I will say it works just as well and not as drying! I wouldn’t recommend using this every day but I do recommend for an every other day or so routine.

I am not high maintenance at all when it comes to hair care. I prioritize my preference to skincare etc. After running out of shampoo I decided to try this one since I love the Kristin Ess texturizing spray. Biggest mistake! This formula literally caused my head and scalp to become insanely itchy and when you scratch, since the formula is so drying, your scalp gets flaky. It’s not dandruff, but looks like it because of all the flakes. I’m so disappointed with this product. I’m literally running to target tomorrow to find something else because I can’t possibly bear another wash. It’s that drying. Not to mention my hair looks way drier than usual and dull. Don’t waste your money!

The shampoo didn’t seem to work into my hair and made it very difficult to wash. It was super tangly. The conditioner was useless. I also tried the deep conditioner and it didn’t work well either. My hair seemed super dry afterwards. Not worth the money spent.
I used this shampoo only once, and I could feel it making my hair a strange brittle texture as I washed it. I can generally wash my hair and not use conditioner, except for the first week after I get highlights. I could not even run my hands through my hair after washing. Needed to use a conditioner, and then still had trouble getting a brush through it. The bottom 2 inches of my hair remain unmaneageable since I used this product. Now I am forced to use conditioner just to brush through my hair after washing, even though I am using my previous shampoo. Very unhappy that it basically wrecked my hair. My husband, who has virgin hair, has no problem with the shampoo, but does use conditioner. The only reason I even tried this was because there is no scent. That is the only plus. I don't understand why the major salon shampoo companies don't make unscented shampoos
