Do NOT Purchase
I have nothing positive to say about this monitor. My biggest issue is that it frequently loses connection. All other wifi devices in my home will be working but this one cannot connect, which is incredibly frustrating, as a sleep deprived parent, attempting to troubleshoot in the middle of the night. Beyond that, it doesn’t hold a charge and the picture is awful.

Terrible
I’ve had issues within the first 2 months with the camera sparking and glitching inside. It happened a few times with most of the time being fine. Fast forward to one year later and the view finder glitches and won’t stay on night vision and it also won’t hold a charge. The camera itself glitches and makes a loud clicking noise waking up my baby. It looks as if it may have an electrical spark inside. There is no way to resolve the issue through Target or online with the Leap Frog website. I called their number and of course I have to wait until possibly tomorrow to get a call back which is ridiculous. Meanwhile, I can’t see my baby when she is napping or sleeping.

Constant Malfunctioning
It has a hard time staying paired and the night vision just stopped working. The camera itself is very noisy and the light inside the camera base won't stop flickering, even when turned off.

Camera kept going offline until reset
I was really excited about this product and the features it offered, however it disconnected three times within the first 12 hours (not a Wi-Fi issue). The only way to get it to reconnect was to either unplug the camera or reset the monitor to factory settings. All of the extra features don’t matter if the monitoring doesn’t work properly, will be returning.

Not too bad! Would reccomend if you can get past a few cons!
Not bad for the price! I’m a first time mom and it was hard to move our daughter to her crib and hope that she’d be okay during the night. We just could not take all the newborn sleep sounds hah. I love this because it has a sound sensitivity level and a “wake screen” setting. So basically at night the screen will only light up if she’s actually crying or being loud and not every time she grunts. Of course you can click a button to see the screen as well. There are a few cons two of which aren’t a big deal. One, this monitor gives you their room temp and perception but I’m shocked it doesn’t have the time and I wish it did. Two, it has an option to play music and light up almost like a sound machine but the music is so loud when you’re viewing from the monitor and gives feedback. Three, what’s annoying is the monitor does lose signal from the camera every now and then and you have to “move closer to the camera”. Luckily though it’ll beep when this happens so it’s not like it loses signal overnight and we have no idea if she’s crying. Lastly the most annoying is just that the monitor battery doesn’t last very long at all. You can barely go a full day without charging it. For us it’s okay, we just keep it plugged in at night and during the day I turn it off and on when being used to help save battery. In the end like I said I don’t think it’s too bad for the price and it works for us!

Trash monitor
I truly do not believe that all the people who gave 5 stars actually like this monitor. The first and most ridiculous issue is that it cannot see in the dark. The camera’s solution? To flash a bright light for up to 30 seconds when you want to check on your baby at night. Yes. Seriously. Of course, that light is frustratingly hard to turn off when you’re in a panic. So baby wakes up screaming. I honestly would be better off sneaking upstairs and checking on her myself. The other frustrating thing is that the monitor will beep when it has low battery, but it’s been plugged in for MORE THAN A DAY and it’s still beeping with low battery. It’s slow charged up to able 30% in 24 hours. So I can’t keep it next to my bed unless I want to be woken up every 1-2 minutes by obnoxious beeping. Overall, this monitor did NOT accomplish the simplest task that a monitor should be able to do, ESPECIALLY a monitor over $100. Beyond disappointed and in disbelief that this monitor has so many 5 star reviews.

Best one I've seen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it's been a while since I have had a baby monitor in my life, The last one being black and white.... Definitely dating myself here. I was extremely impressed with this one. It is extremely clear and in color. The sound picks up really well. I absolutely love how it has glowing lights on the actual camera that sits in the baby's room. There are so many options on this thing that I am just absolutely impressed. As soon as I plugged it in it was immediately connected the camera to the base. I would absolutely recommend.

Great Item for Babies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember growing up and baby monitors were just voice. Adding the element of video in the light or dark is game changing. It allows you to see the child regardless of if the lighting situation. I would recommend this to all my friends having a new baby. It is not just for babies. I actually use it to watch the kids play in the basement while I am upstairs cooking dinner. So many great uses for this product.

An ok monitor for the right job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good monitor for the right circumstances. I would say that is when it is used in a babies room where the baby is not yet very mobile and you do not need to constantly be panning and zooming around to see what is going on. With previous monitors we used, we were able to pan around a room and so not having this feature on this unit is a bit of an adjustment however when used in a room with a sleeping baby and not much else going on this is not too much of a concern. Things that we like are the temp and humidity sensors, however we have yet to actually test their accuracy. The light mode and sounds are a nice little extra. Battery life seems pretty good when fully charged. Im not thrilled about having an app integrated with the unit. I don’t need another thing to download however i can see how being able to view the room remotely has its perks.

We had another monitor and the video wasn't near as clear as this. The monitor unit has good battery life and range is not an issue at all. Peace of mind for the parents.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been more impressed with a baby monitor before. This monitor seems to do a little bit of everything. I started out by making sure it was fully charged. Then I just played around with it. I learned that you can change the coloring on the screen. It has a section on the monitor for playing sounds or lullaby music when needed. There is around ten different settings for that. You can hear it and so can the baby. If you wanted to you could choose to set a timer so it turns off after so long or leave it on. You also have the ability to push a button and talk to the baby to try and soothe them. You can also control the volume and I was amazed with how good it sounds, as long as you do not get to close to the camera. If you're to close you get a lot of feedback. Another great feature on this system, is that you can download the app and still make sure baby is okay when you are not home. This gives me such peace of mind knowing everything is okay when mommy is not around. The monitor can also tell you the temperature in the room and even the humidity level. At night time you can still have the color monitor to be able to see your little one. Oh and let's not forget the zoom on this. You can zoom in and be able to see them breath. That right there is the selling point. The only thing I would want different is to be able to make the camera wireless or wired. If the power goes out I would love a back up option for it to continue working until battery went dead. Overall this leapFrog baby monitor has surpassed all my expectations.

Crystal clear vision!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this so much and wished me got it a lot sooner. Having my last of 4 children sleeping on her own and at first I was sad, but with this baby monitor, I am able to view her anytime. I feel a little better and is at ease knowing she’s sleeping good and I’m able to sleep too. During the day, I face the camera into the living room so I am able to see her play while I’m at work. I can see and hear movements and it’s absolutely very heart warming that I am not missing out much of my family’s lives. Setting it up was very simple and easy to connect and control all devices.

Great video monitor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this Leap Frog wifi video monitor and I wished I had this with my 2 girls. It has great features! . We started sleep training my son and this is a game changer. I can access it remotely even outside the home. No memberships or subscriptions required. The quality of the video is superb, premium colors even in different angles. My son loves the night lights and sounds. I am also amazed that this has a temperature and humidity sensor. Overall, this is a great investment to have for moms. I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best baby monitor that I’ve had and I’ve had a few different monitors. Setting up the monitor and app were both simple. I just had to scan a QR code and connect to my home Wi-Fi. I love all the features that this monitor has. I can see my baby clearly in the screen, play pre recorded melodies and sounds, set a variety of night light colors and talk to my child through the monitor. The parent viewer has a long lasting battery so I don’t have to keep it plugged in all the time. It’s so much I could say about this monitor and everything is positive comments.
