Q: From Levoit's own website, it says Core 200S line doesn't come with HEPA filter. It is a non-HEPA filter. Is this product's specification on target page correct?

A: Called the support team to ask about the filter and of course no answer. On hold for 20 minutes. Would not recommend this brand/company.

A: The red light (or check filter indicator) will light up as a reminder to check the air filter. Depending on how much you use the air purifier, the indicator should turn on within 6–8 months. It is simply a reminder light to check the filters and clear any dust buildup; you may or may not need to change the filters at this time.

A: We recommend placing the purifier on a flat, stable surface with the display facing up. Please allow at least 15 in / 38 cm of clearance on all sides of the purifier and keep away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.

So I found this purifier on sale, $ 20 off, and I bought it last night. The good part: The purifier seems very quiet, much better than my old one from another brand. I wanted to buy a new one because I run my Holmes all the time but still have a ton of dust everywhere. The bad part: I don't have a car and had to get an Uber to take this heavy item home. THE PURIFIER WAS USED, the filter had all sorts of dust on it. Totally disgusted, not with the item itself but Target lack of thouroghly inspecting returned items, and the other customer who used it and returned and lied about the condition. I actually do have a question about the wireless built into this item. I won't use it and don't want more wireless in my home than necessary.

I bought this as a gift and decided to do a drive-up instead. I didn’t realize until I got home that the package was damaged. I am hoping that only the package is damaged and not the actual product. It would be nice to receive un-damaged packages.

i dont write reviews… however. this thing is amazing and 100% worth the price. i’m allergic to my cat, and my house gets very dusty very quickly. my cat is also a stinky little man. i bought this in july, and just today, december 15th, i have had to replace the filter. it was COVERED in a thick layer of dust(?) like crazy. i have never seen anything like that, almost like a dryer vent. i’m really happy i purchased, the app is nice and easy to use. the settings are easy to navigate and it also looks cute.

I would definitely inform people on the box about the filter being wrapped in plastic. I am the worst at reading the instruction manual especially or a simple purifier I would definitely overlook this which I wanted to inform people about because I think it could cause a fire. My point is to inform people about taking the filter plastic off then using it.

Do not waste your money I’ve had it for a while and I have yet to see the benefits It does not purify the air or bring freshness It just runs I have allergies and a dog The proof is in the putting It’s a flop!

I bought this earlier this year after much research. Since then, they have removed all words of HEPA from the product description and advertising. Also if you look up Levoit on the CARB website, this model number no longer complies. Will be returning

This is my sixth or seventh air purifier purchased in the last 20 years of living in my micro-apartment here in San Francisco. This is my first one that is a Levoit. It took all of eight minutes to unbox and turn on the airi purifier using the 'fast start' guide. It refreshed the air so fast without reading the full instructions. Will get another one as I rotate air purifiers.
