Q: Can you rise the filter off or do you have to buy a new one when needed?

A: To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. Please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter, however. Trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells. Either way, it is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion.

Q: Would this help with cat smell in my front foyer entry way ?

A: I'm an old cat rescue lady. If it smells like pee, it's pee. If it smells like poop, it's poop. If it smells like nothing, it's nothing. And you want it to smell like nothing. Use soap and water with a scrubber all over the area, rinse, dry, and spray an enzymatic cleaner for pets all over it and leave it for a while. A black light will show any stains. Look for areas that fluoresce. Find you a cat lady from a cat rescue, humane society, pound, etc. Good luck.

For best results, we recommend minimizing the source of the smell as best as possible first. The air must also pass through the filters a few times.

Q: Is this loud enough to use as a white noise machine as well? We currently have a HEPA air filter in the room and put it on the highest setting to sleep to it because we like the noise looking for a smaller one though.

This thing is bothering me. No dust builds up on the outside like on every other one I've had since I started using these in high school. Why not? Also, there's nothing on the filter. Is it in wrong? Somebody help me

The Core Mini is a small but powerful machine that can filter a room up to 169 ft² twice every hour. The filters generally last about 6 to 8 months. You might see some buildup on the filters; sometimes they look a bit grey or dusty, and other times, the particles are so tiny that you can’t see them at all. Bought this for my living room to help with my allergies and although I didn’t see a significant improvement, I know it’s working because the filter was so dirty after a couple months. It cleans easily with a microfiber cloth and I’ve already cleaned it a few times so I’ll be buying a new filter soon. I’m purchasing another one for my bedroom because I love that it is working.

I bought this less than a year ago(I think in September) I’ve gone through two filters already. I just have it in my bedroom which is well within the 300 square foot limit. It is also louder than my air conditioner or my fan.

I found out I was incredibly allergic to dust so I bought this, I changed the filter after 4 months and I was absolutely blown away. The green is so cute in my room and I hardly even notice the noise even on the highest mode. If you need an alternative that’s not incredibly expensive this is definitely worth it. Filters are $25 every 3-4 months and it saves your body from so much stress.
This says up to 300 square feet and on their website it says up to 178. Target needs someone else to write descriptions on their website. What a waste of time and gas going to the store.

I am completely amazed by this little guy! It sits in am awkward nook in my kitchen where it magically makes any and every icky kitchen/cooking smell disappear. I can't believe something so small and simple does the job this well! The essential oil feature is a fantastic bonus because it only takes 1 drop to give scent to the whole room. It is quieter than I expected, too. You can hardly even hear the first setting, and the highest level just sounds like a very gentle fan. It's a nice amount of white noise for a small space. I think this was probably one of my best purchases of all of 2024, and I absolutely plan to buy several more of these when they go on sale again. I'd love to have one of these tucked away in every room of my house because my home has never been fresher!!!!

I really like it. It’s a simple 1, 2, 3, power button press for low, medium, high. My kids and man have even noticed the difference. It’s great to drown out noise but is still fairly quiet. Everything on it is simple and easy for anyone. I can breathe so much better at night with it on. If there is a smell I’m trying to get rid of fast, I will move it over to the direct location and it’s gone within 30 mins. I’m getting my kids one for their rooms. It’s a great price too. I’ve never had an air purifier before so I cannot compare to other brands or larger purifiers for larger room scale.

I just moved into a new apartment with a neighbor who smokes and my apartment smelled and was so stuffy. After an hour of this air purifier being on it felt SO much better and it smells good in here- I didn’t add any essential oils just the general smell is good. It’s funny because the hallway stinks and as soon as I enter my apartment it is like an oasis of clean air. I never leave reviews either so I am truly impressed!
