Much darker than pic and more copper looking than shown. Returning it with out even opening.

Excellent!! Can't find it in all drug stores... Prices vary for it online and not sure how old or the consistency.

I searched the term pink when selecting this item. This is not as pink as the product image. If you look at the swatch image, that is a bit more true. It is definitely not as light as the image showing it on an eyelid. I would call it more of a very pink bronze. I am an N02 in many cosmetic lines so perhaps it would seem much pinker on darker skin? Photo below has a couple of “baby” pink items for comparison and the product on a cotton pad. Hope this helps.

I have bought every shade of this product. It is by far the best eye product on the market, in my opinion. It goes on easily with a finger or brush, you can use it as a base, a topper, alone or with other products. It is absolutely gorgeous. It can be applied thinly or layered up. I absolutely love it. I honestly wish it came in more shades. I would buy this in every color, in every shimmer. It is my absolute favorite. I wear it everyday. Please Maybelline do not discontinue, I am begging you, if anything expand this product. Don't change the formula just make more colors. It is soooooooo good!

I just purchased my third jar of Socialite, it’s a perfect, soft rose gold. Lasts all day, no creasing, doesn’t feel sticky. I definitely recommend!

I’ve been using these eyeshadows for years and YEARS (please bring back the red!) and there is NOTHING ELSE like it. Yes, I do swipe it on my crease & browbone & undereye as a stand-alone to add definition with some mascara (which is the best ever 1-minute daytime makeup routine), but what makes this stuff the G.O.A.T. of eye makeup is using it as a PRIMER (or imprimatura for you artists out there) and applying all your fave conventional powder-based shadows on top of it. THE COLOR WILL POP LIKE YOU CANT EVEN IMAGINE — AND IT WILL STAY FOREVERRR!! Seriously, I’ve gone to sleep in my makeup after a night of clubbing and in the morning (afternoon) upon waking my gf has been like, How on EARTH does your makeup look THE SAME?!? This. This is how. (And liberal use of UD all nighter spray.) Oh! And I remove with original Ponds. Smear it (Ponds) all over dry face & neck. Don’t be shy. Even rub your eyelashes; it can’t hurt you. Wipe off with hot wet washcloth. Ok, back to eyeshadow. Be sure to apply not only to lid, crease, inner corner, and the middle to outside of your browbone, but also to at least the outer half of the underside of your lash line (bottom lid along lash line) - anywhere you want to apply powder shadow over. (Yes you need to balance the top with the bottom.) And don’t be afraid to swipe it pretty far up on your browbone! If you don’t apply other shadow on top all the way up there, the uncovered part will act as a highlighter. This stuff is *luminescent* and will glow from underneath whatever you put on it, so choose a color palette to match whatever your look is. I’m Caucasian so pink, yellow, or brown all work as neutral bases for me. You can use a lighter shade on your lid/ inner corners, and a darker one on your crease, halfway up your outer browbone (srsly, don’t be afraid to go high and draw it out towards your temple!), and along your bottom lash line. Or use the light pink or yellow all over! Or the brown! That looks great too! Experiment! Smear edges with a clean finger to blend. To apply to underside of lash line, press the middle of your fingertip to the rim of the pot and move sideways along the edge of the rim, to get just a line of product on the end of your fingertip, Then start at the outer corner of your bottom lid as close to the lashes as possible and smear inward carefully. Just smear away. Then do the same thing in the middle of the bottom lid lash line, connecting with what you smeared on the outer part. Just do it; it will look great. If you get a dried flake on your eyelid just scratch it off with a fingernail. People complaining that this stuff dries out — Dude, it’s super cheap and lasts so long you can’t use it all before it goes bad?! How is that a negative? Bottom line — I cannot live without this stuff. That’s not hyperbole, it’s the literal truth. My makeup, and therefore the face I put forward, would never be the same. I use it Every. Single. Day.

I was disappointed in this purchase. The photos make the "Socialite" color look, to me, like a kind of warm blush pink. In reality, the color in the jar and on the eyelids is copper. When I tried using it as a highlighter, I ended up looking like a TV hospital patient. Warm, blush pink looks good on a lot of women. It looks good on me. Copper just doesn't work that well with my skin tone. Had I known the color was copper, I would not have ordered it. It does go on smoothly, and it has a nice sheen to it.

i have a few in other colors and liked the consistency and ease of application. purchased the Gold color. it is a yellow gold and the consistency is oily compared to my other colors of same product

Dried up and couldn’t use it after a week! No matter how hard I pressed barley any color would show.

I purchased this eyeshadow after searching for a nice cream shadow. It is very soft and creamy but way too shimmery for me. If you are looking for a shimmery shadow, this would be perfect. For every day, wear, it’s not a go for me!

This applies very nicely. The color is not as impactful on my light/medium neutral skin tone. But the color is a little “buildable” to make it stand out more.

I adore this cream eyeshadow formula! They never crease on me which is huge, other cream shadows crease the moment they touch my lid. The shade High Roller is the prefect taupe color with shimmer without chunky glitter, the finish is perfect. This shadow glides on without effort and blends like a dream. I would love to see even more neutral, wearable shades as well like a plummy brown. Please never discontinue this product. I would love to see a cream blush with a similar formula as well, an all over potted cream color product would also be amazing.

This is an excellent cream eyeshadow, even for over 50 eyes. It applies easily, smoothly and is not too high pigmented color. I'd tried another brand and this one is much easier to apply and does not cake up on your eyelids.

I loved the original Color Tattoo shadows, but these have too much shimmer! I miss the beautiful matte taupe shade and the Leather shades.

I have tried so many cream eye shadows over the years, high end, and drug store brands. These are the best I have found!! They are so easy to apply. You can use your fingertip or a brush. They look great and last ALL DAY! Another baseball mom who is a makeup artist complimented my eye make up skills. When I don’t her it was literally 2 of these pots applied with my ring finger she was amazed. Another friend complimented how good my eye makeup looked after a 7 mile mountain bike ride in 80° heat. These pictures were taken after a full day of work. I so afraid Maybelline is going to discontinue these. Please don’t!!!

Very clumpy and does not easily blend. Revlon ColorStay Cream Shadow is a much better product.

I’m honestly speechless. These are amazing and that’s an understatement. I have tried so many high end cream eyeshadows and they always and I mean always crease on me, these do not. I keep coming back to these every time I do my eye makeup. I don’t even have to prime and they last all day! Please maybelline, make more shades! They are phenomenal.
