Unfortunately, I had a bad experience switching my TracFone to Mint Mobile. So to SAVE money with Mint Mobile, had to BUY a new phone - my previous phone didn't work with Mint Mobile. I was none to happy about that. Had to spend HOURS to find out I need to buy one from Mint Mobile. AND I can't even get Mint Mobile to give me anything extra to make up for a plan I wasn't able to use for 2 weeks!

Everything went well with the transfer from our old service. Things were going fine until I recieved a notification that I was running out of Data. aparently 5G per month is not enough for me. A rep kindly added 3 more and I got a notification that I have used 80% of that too. So it looks like I need an unlimited plan but that is going to cost much more for a senior retired person. Please advise.

Easy setup and great service!
I needed to make a quick switch because my previous provider's system no longer supported my phone. Mint mobile's customer service was very helpful and found a way to overnight the new sim card to me. The setup instructions were clear and easy and I was back up and running in about 20 minutes after receiving the card and porting over my number. So far the coverage and clarity have been great. And the price is good as well, at only $15/month.

I've had this plan for 2 weeks. I 'very been happy so far. Better than my prior carrier. I'm most satisfied with customer service . It was simple to start my plan and keep my number. It was simple to move my data from my old phone to my new phone. The international roam worked well. I had to purchase 3 additional days of international roaming and needed customer service to complete the process. This was a problem of my own doing, but they resolved my problem. I find the AI when I call is largely useless. The carrier has been been fine with no extraordinary difference than my prior carrier. The customer service is 5 out of 5!

Right from the beginning I could see that Mint offers a unique cellular service. From the cute mascot that is always around to encourage and provide support to the very good customer service that have been helpful in the number porting process. The phone service is crystal clear and always available. The only hitch I have had is the phone with the Mint service is used in another city. This prevents me from getting into my account because I cannot receive the authentication text. It would be really nice if there was an alternative method to receive an authentication code.

Pleased so far. Switching was easy. My one issue had to do with receiving pictures by text, which took two unhelpful calls to customer service. The second one was an AI rep, who was extremely unrealistically programmed, and SO frustrating to work with. On top of that, the advice given was wrong. I eventually got the answer I needed on Reddit.

Hi, here's initial feedback: 1) SIM card arrived with eSIM enabled which made activation frustrating for me AND Mint reps. (I finally figured it out. ) 2) if there's a video re: 3-part physical SIM card, SHARE the news or pls make one. But thanks rep available.

My phone service was inactive for 1-2 days soon after my Mint activation. My Mint activation experience was very painful, as it took more than one hour to do, and I had expert help in activating the new SIM card. Mint has a LOT of room for improvement!!!
