A: We recommend using light pressure when using on vinyl. If the vinyl has a shiny finish or is textured, scrubbing too hard may remove the finish or the texture.

A: Yes – you can use the Original, Duo and Extra Power versions on paint, but we don't recommend using it on faux paint, car paint or surfaces where painted within the last 3 months. Only use on 'matte' or 'flat' finishes

A: Thanks for asking if my Magic Erasers can be used on cloth/cloth sneakers. If your athletic shoes are leather, you can use my Erasers on them. You can also clean the soles with one of my Magic Erasers. If your shoes are canvas/cloth, I don't recommend using a Magic Eraser on them.

We want to assure you that our Magic Erasers are not toxic, but because they wear down as you use them, we hope you'll take care to pick up and throw out any small bits of the Eraser that may wear off. This is why we encourage you to not use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on dishes. We suggest checking in with Tupperware, regarding how to get these dishes their best clean.

That being said, be sure to test them on an inconspicuous area first, and take care on any silicone used to seal the glass, as our Magic Erasers could cause the silicone to peel away. However, we don't recommend using them on oven racks. We also encourage you to remove any pieces of the pad that are left behind, and remove any visible residue with a damp cloth or paper towel. This is the 3rd time buying and the eraser has fallen into tiny little pieces at the start of any cleaning. I use to use these all the time for the quality and now I would never recommend due to quality issues.

I have a magic eraser in different rooms for different purposes. I have learned that these are melamine sponges and you can get generic ones for much less. These work quite well though.

I would personally avoid these. They are not durable at all as they fall apart after 1 use and not even with particularly hard scrubbing--I was just using them to wipe down the storm door. I would stick with a microfiber towel or a trusty utility brush as these are a waste of money.

Used this to clean up some dirty looking areas on the walls and as soon as I rubbed it started to fall apart and deteriorate. It got some spots off the walls so i’ll give it 2 stars for that reason. but I hardly was able to use it before throwing it away.

I will never purchase this product again. These sponges fall apart the first time you use them, leaving small bits of sponge all over the surface or bathroom item you're cleaning. The sponge was ripped to shreds after I used it once on my shower and tub. How is this "extra durable"? I'm applying light pressure with an all purpose cleaner and shreds of magic eraser are falling off the sponge. Invest your four dollars into a scrub mommy that's dual sided. It lasts longer and is more environmentally and financially responsible! Shame on P&G for justifiying the purchase of more and more of these erasers due to their terrible durability and quality.

Not enough cleaning solution in each of these sponges and we had to use a lot of effort to rub dirt & mild stains off an area (NO magic here - not doing as advertized to do on 'tough cleaning jobs'). Sponges are not durable either, they shread & flatten because you have to rub so hard to get a surface clean. A regular sponge & scouring powder does a better job & ia lot cheaper.

Our acrylic bathtub developed ground in staining that looked like a easy to remove dirty patches that just wouldn't go away with normal bath cleaners. As many do these days we went to YouTube for claeaning advice. Clearly we were not the first to have this problem as there were many sites all with diffrent products and procedures. Nothing, I meam none of the YouTube solutions worked. We then began to price a new tub/shower as the stains were bothering us that much. Then we picked up a package of Magic Erasers 'just to have around' for odd jobs. On a whim we tried them out on the tub satins. VICTORY! Stains gone. It would be well worth your marketing group to take a look at any number of YouTube sites focused on difficult cleaning issues. I'm betting the Erasers can easily solve many of these issuses. Great products, get the word out on tub stains!
