Contains surfactants from plant-derived sources, dirt and stain-fighting enzymes, essential oils, other thoughtfully chosen ingredients and, of course, are always made with a cruelty-free formula. This biodegradable formula liquid detergent is HE compatible. Concentrated for 74 loads of laundry. Packaging contains recycled content. Best of the BEST!

Switched to Meyers recently last year, was looking for a cleaner product with a subtle clean/soft scent and this was a HIT in my household! I have a blue collar husband and talk about getting a clean, non greasy/oil smelly shirts and pants after ONE wash, is a huge win for THIS wife! not to mention the kids with dirt on their clothes and sweat is beaten with Meyers laundry soap! No longer smells like lavender :(

The new formula has a horrible chemical scent to it. It does not smell like the classic lavender that it once was. My towels have held onto the fake scent even after washing them 3-4 times with unscented soap from another brand. It’s very disappointing because the lavender used to be my favorite.

Disappointing scent

Cleans as well as the other scent I buy (lemon verbana) but smells like nothing of lavender. It is a strange scent and not especially pleasant 😕

2026 Price went up!!!!

We liked this detergent even after the formula change, but this price changed from 17.99 to 20.99 at the turn of the new year and we will no longer be purchasing. What a slap in the face to loyal customers. It doesn’t even work that well to be at that price point honestly. We just liked the smell. There are other comparable or better quality products available at this price point and we will happily explore our options.

Smells Lovely

My laundry smells amazing! This is the first Mrs. Meyer’s scent I’ve tried, and now I can’t wait to explore more. It’s gentle on my skin and doesn’t trigger my allergies. It even brought the softness back to my favorite blanket. Definitely a 5 star product! ⭐️

Terrible new scent

I am begging brands to STOP. CHANGING. SCENTS. Why on earth fix what isn’t broken? This smells disgustingly fake and cheap. If you’ve used it and liked the natural lavender scent, don’t bother wasting your money on this. It’s completely different and a waste of money.

This larger size is a better value

The Mrs. Meyer’s Lavender Laundry Detergent is one of those products that combines effective cleaning power with a calming, spa-like scent. The lavender fragrance isn’t overpowering, but it lingers just enough to make laundry feel a little more special — which is a gift in itself when you’re doing 1–2 loads a day for seven people. This 64 oz bottle lasts us a bit longer than average because of its concentration — a smaller amount still does the job. It’s particularly good for regular clothing and linens. I use it more selectively on items like sheets, pajamas, and everyday clothes where I want that relaxing lavender scent to carry over. My daughter is especially fond of it, and I find it helpful in winding down at night when the bedding smells subtly floral. It doesn’t have the aggressive stain-fighting power of more industrial formulas, so I wouldn’t rely on it alone for muddy jeans or gym clothes. But paired with a booster, it works wonderfully. For a large household, it’s more of a specialty detergent — a treat for certain loads, rather than a workhorse.
