Q: Hello How do you sorce your fragrance? I noticed it just says fragrance. Is it a synthetic fragrance? If so, do you plan on making a unscented or pure essential oil, or botanical fragrance oil that is not synthetic?

All of our products are phthalate-free and paraben-free, and we abide by the International Fragrance Regulatory Association (IFRA) guidelines to ensure the safety of our formulations. We completely understand the need for transparency and we would recommend using our Lavender & Rose or Unscented deodorant if you are looking for an option where all of the oils are labeled. Please let us know if you have any additional questions and have a fantastic day!

DO NOT BUY!! I decided to try Native hair care because I like the deodorant. After using this for one month, I noticed I had lost over 2 inches off my hair due to breakage!! Then I decided to go through the reviews to see if anyone else had experienced hair loss, and found dozens. This will ruin your hair!!

I have bleached white hair that is dry and obviously damaged from the bleach. I ran out of my salons recommended shampoo that is nice but very pricy and not cruelty free. Tried this on a whim and am in disbelief! It left my hair so clean but still super soft and easy to manage! I was skeptical because I didn’t love their deodorants but I will give 10/10 recommendation for this shampoo. Also the smell is very nice and not too strong

My hair is thin, turning gray, and was dry. This moisturizing shampoo has made a very good difference in my hair recently after using it as my hair was dry and awful. I have only been using this shampoo for about a week but so far so good. I like how it makes my hair feel and I had an itchy scalp but not now. I actually have some body to my hair now too. Now, the fragrance does fade quickly but I don't buy shampoos for the fragrance. I buy them for what they can do for my hair and scalp. I may be back to do an update.

The shampoo made my hair oily within a day and started to thin out my hair. I also have split ends all the way up to my roots because of the shampoo. The conditioner makes my hair feel like straw after using and doesn’t even moisturize my hair in any way, shape or form.

After washing, my hair was sticky and still oily. It leaves a residue on your hair. After using, I also notice a lot more hair lost. Other than the smell which is kind of nice, but a little too strong, it’s not worth it.

They have to add something into this that they say they don’t add. I switched from professional products to this for price sake, but 6 weeks in, and I have SO much build up on my scalp. When I shower, I wash my hair 2-3 times and I SCRUB. Even still, there’s so much build up. So much so that it’s literally flaking off of my scalp, an issue I’ve never had. Note- I don’t use other products, styling or otherwise. Just this and the conditioner. Today I went and paid for a Malibu to remove the build up. I don’t leave a review unless I really love something or I really want people to be cautious. Be cautious friends.

I read a ton of positive reviews before I finally decided to try this out but I guess something with the formula has changed... my scalp never felt clean. I got out of the shower with my hair feeling worse than when I got in and I tried it 3 times with different washing techniques so I really tried to give it a fair chance! It smells great but it dried out my ends so bad and my scalp just felt so heavy and dirty!
