A: Thank you for reaching out about Native Toothpastes! Native stands by the quality and safety of our products. As part of the product development process, RDA values are measured to ensure they are okay for use in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines (specifically that RDA is below 250). We generally do not disclose specific RDA values as RDA values below 250 should not be used to rank the safety of toothpastes as these values do not necessarily correspond to potential clinical changes to the enamel. I can assure you that our toothpaste RDA is below 250 and is enamel-safe! We have formulated our toothpaste with a specific level of abrasiveness in mind so as to not damage the enamel and also to provide a healthy amount of whitening power. Per the American Dental Association, "All dentifrices at or below 2.5 times the reference value, or 250 RDA, are considered safe and effective." You can learn more about RDA on their website. I have been using Tom's of Maine Botanically Bright Peppermint Toothpaste 4.7 oz. Compared to Tom's of Maine, Native's Wild Mint & Peppermint Oil Toothpaste is about the same price for a 4.1 oz tube, but it doesn't have as much 'pow' peppermint/mint wise. I really like to feel the cool mint rushing into my mouth after brushing! This would be my 2nd choice.

I used to love this toothpaste back when it was available with fluoride. Please bring it back! I bought one of the f-free version because I needed something, but I won't be repurchasing. It was so nice to be able to buy a toothpaste that was "clean", yet still contained fluoride, which is important to me.

I love this toothpaste! I bought both the Wild Mint and Charcoal flavors and they were great. They leave a minty fresh feeling in your mouth and don’t use fluoride, which I try to avoid. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fluoride free toothpaste!

Shipment packers should be ashamed- they purposely tore off the top of the box and the bottle wasn't sealed. I swear, every single shipment from Target, my items are tampered with/opened (definitely not due to shipping process), or completely broken since they always literally throw everything in one box and don't ever wrap anything at all, not even vases! Who is running this department!!?

Used for a few weeks and I now have extremely sensitive teeth and a cavity (I have not have a cavity in 10 years and have only ever had one!) I also felt like I needed to brush more than twice a day because my breath never stayed fresh. I honestly believe it changed the natural healthy bacteria balance in my mouth. DO NOT BUY. I tried the fluoride and non fluoride version
