A: This will only work off an inverter in a vehicle. It needs to be plugged into a receptacle like you have in your home. Some newer cars provide this or it can be added, but it's not standard.

If you want a heating pad that actually puts off heat - don't get this one! Bought it due to a shoulder injury and it barely covers my shoulder, it is so awkwardly made and it gets barely warm for less than 5 minutes and then stops getting warm. I'm returning this item ASAP, it sucks so bad.

If you are looking for a heating pad that actually provides heat, keep looking. Mine gets warmer on MEDIUM than it does on HOT. I didn't splurge for the $50 one because I thought a heating pad is the most basic item, why would I need the name brand. Think again, buy the name brand or shop elsewhere. My flat heating pad nearly scalds my skin on high, but this one is like a low on that pad. This is going back.

I like the way it fits over the shoulder and covers shoulders, neck, and upper back. The heating is even. I like it has a timer, although I have yet to use it. I’ve been using it almost daily for a month with no problems.

Horrible Heating Pad

Brand new, fresh out of the package, it felt barely warm on the highest heat setting. My old one, before the heating element burnt out, was too hot on the highest setting, and I had to use a lower setting to ease back pain. Over time, it became less hot and I began to use the higher settings as the item wore out, until it finally ceased to function. This heating pad seemed to be a better value, because it costs less money. Nope! On the highest setting, it's not as warm as the only one set to "low." It's not warm enough to ease sore muscles and stop the pain. And there's certainly no room to "start using a higher setting" if it becomes less potent over time. In a nutshell, it's a complete waste of money. I'm returning this item and purchasing another of the more expensive one I used to own.

There are only 3 levels: low medium and high. There must be a circuit (?) problem or something because only sometimes it gets really warm when on high otherwise, feels like it’s barely on at all. I’ve also tried a sunbeam one that did about the same thing. I don’t recommend either brand unfortunately

Gives very little heat. Do not buy. And what little heat it does give does not cover the entire pad. So although you’re buying a big pad-only a small portion gets barely warm.

This heating pad is just ok. It doesn’t get that hot at all, so it’s more like a “warming pad.” It’s got a nice long cord so you can plug it in a fair distance from where you are sitting son that’s a nice feature.

This heating pad works great. Not only to remove muscle aches but just to warm up. The shape makes it a great option for multiple areas. I use it not only on my neck and shoulder but on my thighs as well. Only negative is the material seems to attract pet hair.

I'm pleased with this product. It takes about 3-4 minutes to feel like it's warmed up. That could be due to layers of clothing, or because I have only tried it on the low and medium settings. I'm not sure how I feel about the neck design. I like that it covers more of the neck area but don't like how it feels on the back of my head. The front has Velcro to keep the heating pad in place. Overall, a decent product, albeit a little clunky....but who cares if it works, right?

I’m really satisfied with neck & shoulder wrap. The warming settings are good. The highest one gets hot! It definitely helps soothe and relax the tension my spouse and I tend to get in the neck/shoulders. Great to use before a massage. This is a must have for anyone who regularly has sore shoulders neck and upper back. The soft fabric feels delightful on your body and there are 3 heat settings for any need. Imagine this could also be wrapped around the stomach for cramps or around sore legs.

I have recurring neck soreness, so I was eager to try this heating pad. The material is soft to the touch and the shape and velcro make it easy to position and keep in place. The size of the heaing pad is generous as well. I would give this product would get 5 stars if it got warmer. Also, minor thing but the power button works a little different from any other heating pad I have ever seen.
