This powerful Newair Portable Air Conditioner and Heater rapidly cools, heats and dehumidifies up to 500 square feet, making it perfect for large rooms and open concept living spaces. With 14,000 BTUs of cooling power (9,950 BTUs with new DOE guidelines) and a fan with up to 250 CFMs of airflow, enjoy total comfort all year round. The self-evaporative system eliminates the need to empty the water tank in all but the most humid conditions by recycling the water to cool the coils - an energy-saving bonus.
1. 4 Great Products in One
This powerful product does everything you need total relief all year round. Use the air conditioner to quickly cool down a hot room, use the heater on cold winter days or use the powerful, 250-CFM fan alone to save energy. The auto-evaporative system dehumidifies and recycles excess moisture to reduce condensation.
2. Included Window Venting Kit Sets Up in Minutes
All portable A/C units require venting through a window, so we include a hose and venting kit that snaps together quickly, with everything you need right in the box. Ready to take it down? The venting kit can be taken down in minutes and the unit can easily roll away on easy-glide casters.
3. Clean, Customizable Comfort
Choose from three fan speeds to create breezes that flow. No matter which setting you prefer, easy-clean slide-out dust filters and dehumidifying functions keep common allergens like pollen and mold to a minimum.
4. Easy Operation and Remote Control
Whether you want to cool, dehumidify or just feel the breeze, the intuitive interface and included remote control make it easy to select your favorite settings. There's also a programmable timer that allows you to set cooling functions for up to 24 hours-an energy-saving feature that keeps you from accidentally running your A/C non-stop.

Easy to Set Up AC/Heater

After having trouble with two units, NewAir has agreed to replace my AC/Heater with another unit, even though it is out of warranty. While I can't honestly give this particular unit a 5 star review, I can say this - when it worked, it *really* worked. The heat and AC both would hold a constant temperature and easily kept my workspace at a comfortable temperature, no matter the weather outside. Additionally, I do have to give an extra star based on the customer service and the fact that they are willing to replace the unit.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I purchased this unit in August 2022. The first time we used the heat, it did not work correctly. They replaced the unit in October 2022. It did the same thing. (The water has to be emptied every hour! Annoying!) They told us to use it anyway. We left the water cap off and let it drain into a container so we could empty twice a day instead of every hour. Now, after just over a year of use, the unit does not work at all. It can not be replaced and I was just informed that the "parts used for the heating function are NON REPLACEABLE." This unit is far too expensive to only get one year of use and not be able to replace parts.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The drainage is not very good. There's no drainage tube so you have to tilt it. which if you have some sort of disability is a pain in the butt. It's not cooling after 9 months but then again I live in Florida.
The perfect climate control system for the new studio!

I am building a new studio out of a shed and decided I'd need a climate control system for it. This unit's huge 14K BTU output was the perfect pick. With both heat and A/C, it can handle things year round. While winter here is stopping me from testing the A/C portion of this, The heater is working great and it keeps the area dry and warm. I have no doubt that when needed, the A/C part of it will work just as well. Overall I am happy with it! It's a lot quieter than I thought it would be, and it takes up little floor space.
I would recommend this unit to everyone I know.

Works great and I would buy it again. I think the internal temperature gauge is a little off though. It is no problem I go by the feel of the temperature and adjust accordingly.
I would purchase again

This machine is working great in my Rv with a little ventilation and power issues resolved. I would definitely recommend to any full time RV'er to help keep your house on wheels cool during blazing desert heat.

Horrible don’t do it !!! Super load !! Instruction should just be a you tube video link because they provide none! Also I live in a small one bedroom/studio and it doesn’t cool it down ! It’s a joke I don’t even live in a hot area like Arizona. The hottest my area gets is like 75-80 max so I figured I’d try it out for those rare heat waves we randomly get but this is such a headache! It’s super heavy as well there’s no way to load this and try to return this a target !!! $500 down the drain
Nice but way to loud!

Unit works well but it is very loud! I had to return it because it was way to loud to run while sleeping. I purchased this for cooling off just my bedroom at night and not the whole house..unfortunately it is so loud I couldn't sleep. Day time use would be fine but if you are a light sleeper this unit isn't for you.
I am not satisfied with the cooling ability of this device.

The device does not have the cooling ability it should have. I intend to sell it this winter and replace it with another vendor.

My garage was getting so hot during the summer down here in central Mississippi it would just be unbearable for me to work in and my garage freezers and ice machines where always breaking down. Now with the portable Newair 14,000BTU Unit my garage is comfortable again and my freezers are working much better! If this unit dose what it dose in my crazy hot garage I am sure it could cool any room in a house.

This does a great job super-cooling our large bedroom. We used to drop the whole house temperature to 70 at night to sleep real good. Now we leave the house at 78 and lower our bedroom to 68 for a restful nights sleep! Cuddle time cold air! The only thing is as a firs timer installing a widow vent I felt that the diagrams could have been a little clearer. Also add a good window seal so someone doesn't have to run out to buy one. I would still give the unit and company a 4.999999999 Star rating.

Got these units during a heat wave to keep our living space cool for our 18 month old and newborn baby and couldn't be happier. Not too loud. Nice that it has the heating option too!

Was very impressed with it at first, but then it all went downhill. I owned this portable AC for 28 days now and this morning I noticed a "FL" fault appear on the LCD. I thought okay, it just need to drain it. After that, everything ran okay for about 30 minutes until the "FL" fault returned. Once again I went ahead to drain it, but no water really came out. At this point, I decided to tilt the AC on it's face to see if I can troubleshoot it. But the second I did that, water leaked everywhere and soaked my rug!
Easy Install Quiet Operation

This unit was very easy to install although I did have to adjust with my own invention to fit RV window. I purchased to use in the toy hauler/guest sleeping area of my RV. I've used over a month in a record hot Texas summer. Cools the area wonderfully and has a very quiet operation especially in comparison to the other RV units. Love the swing feature which just means the vent continuously moves the direction of the air output. Have not had a chance to test the heater portion but will give feedback when I do. .
