Malfunctioned at 6 months, no help from Ninja support
Intermittently quit brewing after 6 months so we'd have to unplug it, wait 10 minutes and repeat until it would brew again. It would happen at least once a week. Then, you program the size and type of brew, it always would start, switch to "cold brew 8oz" and stop brewing. Then we could program what we wanted and it would work...every...single...time. Was emailing with Ninja support and all they said was sorry, it's out of warranty, but you can buy the base part of the unit for $100 plus shipping. You can buy a new one for $106. It worked great when it did, but I'm trying a different brand since this one only lasted 18 months. We cleaned it and descaled it regularly, but nothing helped since it is the electronics.

I have tried multiple coffee makers and this one has made me the most happy. I have cut out my Starbucks runs and love the convenience of being able to brew a cup at a time. I love that you don’t have to use pods, because those things are so expensive and the coffee is not fresh. I love the built in frother and how easy it is to clean the machine.

Horrible
I should have stayed with my Keurig. The over the ice section of the machine does not work. You have to keep attempting for the coffee to brew because it makes a few drops and then stops completely. Customers should save their money

Stay away from this one.
I purchased this a few months ago. I have had nothing but trouble. It spits grounds in my coffee all the time. I am forced to use the grounds function and cut open my pods so that I don't get the grounds in my coffee. Even then its extremely sloppy and the water keeps dripping well after it shuts off. Not happy at all

It explodes the pods! Useless machine
This machine has one job. It is supposed to brew coffee with pods or a filter. It can’t do either. I would give this 0 stars if I could. This machine has exploded 100% of the pods I put in it. It starts ok then halfway through the pod explodes and makes a complete mess. The pod literally explodes. When I brew my own coffee, the sediment in the cup is just awful. I wish I did not waste my money on this useless piece if plastic. I can not recommend this machine,

Machine malfunctions after a month
It broke after 1 month. Would randomly stop brewing in the middle of a pour and would do this multiple times before a cycle completed. Basket takes a lot of time to clean the grounds out of. The k-cup holder was the only positive feature but all k-cup machines have this convenience. For $100 its a good discount but not worth the machine. Spend your money elsewhere.

Leaky contraption
I just received my Ninja® Single-Serve Pods & Grounds Specialty Coffee Maker. And it leaks all over the counter. The leak is not from the reservoir but from the base of the coffee maker itself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Life Changing Coffee Upgrade …..Don’t Believe the Hate! Okay, listen. My old Keurig served its time (10 years, bless its little heating coil). But the coffee was always like… brown water with a caffeine vibe. I switched to the Ninja Pods & Grounds because I wanted options and BABY, I got options. The Rich/Bold brew setting? HELLO???? My tastebuds ascended. The same K-cups I used before suddenly taste like… actual coffee. Strong, flavorful, alive. I literally thought, “Wait… have I been drinking lies for a decade?” Do the instructions matter? Yes. Is it worth the extra 20 seconds of effort? Also yes. People leaving negative reviews must be brewing on “Barely Coffee” mode or expecting the machine to read their minds. This thing gives QUALITY, as long as you are willing to press the right button. If Keurig is fast food, this Ninja is the restaurant with real plates. My only regret: not upgrading sooner. Bestie, if you want BOLD coffee and a personality glow up in the morning, get this!!!

Exploding pods
I was very excited for this and I haven’t used it yet with loose grounds because I have some coffee pods left over that I want to use up. The first couple of pods are used were just fine, but now every single one of them is bursting inside even though I have everything set up correctly. I have had to clean the machine in my counter twice today now. If you’re going to buy this, I would recommend not counting on using pods, which are an environmental disaster anyhow. And if you do want to use pods, invest in a small mesh strainer so you can strain the exploded coffee grounds out of your coffee.
