A: It depends on the case. If the case goes around the Switch and Joy-Con’s in one whole piece, then it would have to be removed. If the case does not cover the Joy-Con’s, or has separate joy con covers, it wouldn’t have to be removed.

A: If you have a Nintendo Switch, and follow the instructions to connect the new joy cons to it, you will have the privileges needed to play Just Dance easily.
There are multiple versions of Just Dance to play on other consoles, like Playstation. Don't buy these if you don't have a Switch console.
Just for clarification, and in no way to be rude: There is no such thing as a "Nintendo Playstation". Joy cons only work with a "Nintendo Switch" console. Playstation is made by Sony, the full name of that console is "Sony Playstation." Since the Nintendo Switch also doesn't use games in CD form, I have a feeling you really don't waste your money on these.

Yes, original Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons are compatible with the Switch 2, but with limitations. They connect wirelessly for tabletop/TV modes but cannot physically attach to the new console, which uses a different attachment system. The best Nintendo switch controllers
These are probably the best remotes out there. You really don’t want a generic remote. These are strong and withhold hours of play. We’ve had a issue in the past with these remotes and we called Nintendo and they had to send their remote and they fixed it for free for us. Nintendo brand is definitely the best. Just wish was a little cheaper.

We just got around to opening these for Christmas and the right controller (blue one) doesn’t even work and scrolls down as if some one is hitting the joystick and won’t register that it’s connected when the black piece is connected to it. Pretty crappy for a $90 product.

Right ZR button/trigger doesn't work. I live 75 miles from nearest Target. Target will only exchange or allow return IN PERSON.
I purchased these Joy Cons for my daughter for Christmas. From the very first time she used them, the right ZR button/trigger doesn't connect regularly. It responds to being pushed about 1/2 the time. So obviously there is a connection error going on inside the right Joy Con. Well...Target expects me to drive 150 miles round trip to exchange these Joy Cons (and at this point, with their customer service, I'm unsure they'll even accept them for exchange since I was told I had to initiate a return by Dec. 30 when my receipt CLEARLY says January 24, 2025). I remember Target's customer service being notoriously awful 15 years ago. I am now reminded that it hasn't changed and is perhaps even worse. I wish I purchased these from another seller or store.

Buy the warranty
The controllers lasted for 7 months before they started having a lot of drift. The warranty is well worth the price. They sent me a giftcard for the entire amount. Nintendo needs to make improvements on this design.
