Q: Do you absolutely need to use a bucket of water with this or can I use vinegar/water solution or Method Squirt + Mop solution?

  • A: I have used a vinegar/water solution in the bucket as well as the Squirt Mop method. With the squirt & mop, I squirt solution on floor then use water in the bucket to spread and rinse the solution off floors. Yes both are equally effective. This mop makes rinsing easier because the mop get wrung better with less water on the floor.

    So disappointed

    Very upset with this purchase. I used another O-Cedar mop & after 3 yrs, it broke. Wanted this one for awhile so perfect opportunity when the other broke. This arrived fast from Target & I was excited to try it out! Opened the box & the outside of the bucket was dirty. Kinda aggravating after spending $50 on but decided to use it anyway. Then another disappointment -the handle of the mop will not stay locked in position so you either mop with a midget mop or are constantly fighting with it to stay the correct length. I would take it back but my husband had already taken the box to the garbage & I live 45 minutes from the closest Target. The wring part of it is just ok, does not get enough of the water out to go straight to mopping. Very disappointed with this mop & would not recommend.

    Hopes too high?

    I reaaaaally hoped this was the hype it seemed it was. My biggest issue right now is that the mop itself feels too weak to coat as much as it does. It’s worth $5 tops 🥲 Maybe it’s to be expected that the bottom of it—what is mostly used on the floor—and not the sides got flat and didn’t seem to be moving much after a few minutes. Not sure if that makes sense, but when I looked at the bottom of it afterwards, I thought there would’ve been more of it that had gotten dirty. Otherwise, it’s pretty easy to use. Though I would’ve liked to handle to have been taller and sturdier. It felt pretty weak moving around, and a few times I started to untwist it by accident. I understand that is to make it easier to twist and untwist, but it was a little annoying.

    bad bucket Sadly

    I bought the mop set because I have had 3 of them before. they all worked great until now. I replaced my old bucket and mop. the easy wiring to dry the mop doesn't spin for my bucket and it's very frustrating when you are dragging a super wet mop around. I have to use my hands to squeeze out the excess water from the mop. defeats the purpose of the spinning wiring

    The Worst Quality

    Will have to return. Mine just WILL NOT Stay "Put Together"! No matter how much I try to do something so simple (just screw the stick into the mop head) it just will not stay screwed! WHICH MAKES IT USELESS! I mean I don't mind them being as cheap as they desire to be, but if you're SO cheap that the product doesn't work—then there's nothing to sell!!! You Have No Product.     I was going to return this because the mop handle is absolutely useless. A lot of the negative reviews are due to similar issues with the mop handle. The mop head wouldn't stay attached, so I was going to do a return but I saw someone say they used a handle from the dollar tree which I had in my closet and decided to see if it worked. It did work. Now if the bucket starts leaking like the other reviews say, then I'll be mad.
