  • A: I have used a vinegar/water solution in the bucket as well as the Squirt Mop method. With the squirt & mop, I squirt solution on floor then use water in the bucket to spread and rinse the solution off floors. Yes both are equally effective. This mop makes rinsing easier because the mop get wrung better with less water on the floor.

    Still have to rinse the mop

    I hate this mop and bucket. I don’t understand the point. I have to rinse the mop in the sink after I use it on the floor, then dip it in the cleaning solution, then spin it dry a little before using it on the floor again. Way more effort than a wring sponge mop. I don’t have to touch the sponge mop to wring it out.

Extend the handle halfway (not all the way), then turn the red handle away from you to lock it. Next, extend the bottom gray section (closest to the base with the tread) halfway, then turn it toward you to lock it.     I was excited about buying this since I have seen some videos that sounded like a very good product. However, when I tried, the following were my problems: the mop head is very good and the handle is very good. however, the bucket with the water wringer doesn’t do much. I was pressing and pressing to get the water out, but the water does not wring out well. I had finally to squeeze it with my hand, which I didn’t like at all. I only needed this for cleaning the walls. I think the old school method of squeezing should be used for this bucket for effective wringing instead of this spinning method.

    This is an OK mop, I wanted to replace my Mr. Clean Spin Mop duel bucket system and didn't realize this model is not a duel bucket system. The O- cedar is a fairly decent mop had it not been one bucket to spin rinse into and also soak up the solution and water to mop my floors. In my opinion I am only smearing the dirt back across my floors by dunking into dirty water.

    Disappointing

    I really wanted to love this, but it epically failed. It arrived damaged (shipping company, NOT Target). Target sent a replacement. The concept is great, but the mop attachment would not stay on. It fell off every few pushes of mopping. Super annoying. I hate to say that I will be that person returning a used mop.
