Q: Some of the other spin mops scratch your floor because there is little mop head, but lots of plastic. How does this compare?

With the squirt & mop, I squirt solution on floor then use water in the bucket to spread and rinse the solution off floors. Yes both are equally effective. This mop makes rinsing easier because the mop get wrung better with less water on the floor.

A: Thanks for this question. I have the O Cedar spin mop and bucket. The foot pedal pushing down makes this weird noise (not the seamless push you should have) and I have to pull it up with my toes it won’t come back up on its own. This has done this since I got it! I was just looking to possibly get the rinse clean version. But apparently I might run in to the same problem I really don’t want to Continue wasting money because it’s a huge pain in the butt!

Q: Is there a "Deep Clean" refill mop head that works w/ the "RinseClean" model? Can you really ONLY use water to clean your floors with this? What's in the mophead that removes 99% of bacteria?

O-Cedar microfiber mop heads are made up of millions of tiny synthetic fibers. When used with water all of these tiny fibers loosen and mechanically pick up dirt and bacteria, and carry it away, without the use of harsh chemicals. ❤️

I really like the mop bucket and how it separates the clean from dirty. However, that's kind of wasted because the mop handle doesn't stay up and it's also too short. Hopefully able to get a new one or refund from the distributor

Even though this last thing, I love it. Leave the floor really clean. The system of always having clean water works very well. I would say this product is great if you need to clean small places.

I needed a mop due to getting a puppy. I have luxury plank vinyl floors. I have loved using this mop. I only needed a very damp mop and this mop is perfect due to being able to ring it out. I use a small amount of vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. The floors come out clean and smell great too.

Using this made me so mad that I literally wanted to take it outside and kick its a— or light it on fire. The spinning barely gets any water out so it’s like just basically flooding your floor. Have to use a towel behind the mopping just so your floors are soaking wet. Then the plastic from the mop head rubs along the floor as your mop. So dumb I don’t get how people say they like this piece of garbage.

What I love most is how easy it is to use—no more bending over or getting my hands wet. The foot pedal spin system makes wringing out the mop effortless, and the two-bucket design keeps the clean and dirty water separate, which feels a lot more hygienic. The microfibre mop head picks up dust and dirt really well, even in corners. It’s made my floor-cleaning routine faster and way less of a chore. Honestly, it’s one of those tools that makes you wonder how you managed without it before.

The bucket system is fine but the mop itself is terrible. It’s extremely tiny and the plastic scrapes the floor. It’s unavoidable. Also, I’m a pretty short person and even with the stick fully extended it is way too short for me to comfortably mop. This is absolutely not worth the price tag.

Honestly, this is a game changer! Love how easy it is to use and how much water you can ring out of mop without using your hands! I definitely recommend; it is a tad expensive but I think it’s worth the price! I do wish the mop head was more plush though, if you scrub hard be careful not to scratch your floors (the plastic piece holding mop head to broom stick can be heard dragging against floor when I press too hard). Replacement mops heads purchased from Amazon at $15 for three.

I really like that there are two separate reservoirs. One for clean water and one for dirty water. I dislike the pedal because on my last O’Cedar system the pedal broke.

With that said, it does work well enough, keeps the dirty water separate & the removable top portion makes it much easier to fill up with the kitchen sink. Because of that I think I’ll continue to use it but with the original mop handle for ease of use.

The lever to stop water consistently still leaks water. So if you are mopping every time you go back to the mop, it will have a full thing of clean water! Do not buy it’s all hype.

It has an awesome system separating the clean water from the dirty water, and soaks up all the dirt and water from the floor. I love the handle that helps you lift the bucket and the little peddle on the side too.

I absolutely love the two tank system on this mop, it feels very reassuring to know that I’m always mopping with clean water instead of reusing the dirty water. The foot pedal wringer is another fantastic touch to this mop system, giving me the control over how wet the mop is without having to bend down or get my hands dirty. I think this mop system is pretty reliable, as its nice and sturdy, and has been working great for me ever since I got it. No more mess, just a user friendly amazing product that does what it's suppose to. I can't say enough good...I did my entire house in under an hour. You can spin the mop as much as you like so it can be wetter or dryer depending on what you need and good exercise for my calf muscles . The peddle is easy to use and the handle clip is great for holding the mop handle. It mop head comes off easily and just need to put it in the laundry to clean . I like how the dirty water and clean water is kept separate from each other. In the older version this feature wasn’t available.Very user friendly and sturdy enough to do what it is supposed to do. It’s not heavy so easy to walk around the house and the mop length os adjustable so not hurting your back. Overall an amazing experience, taking your cleaning to next level. I have robot cleaning device but won’t come close to manually cleaning mop like this one . I would recommend and I would buy it again

Total piece of junk. Not big enough to do anything, scrap the floor with the plastic cap. Material is low quality. For $50, this should be top notch. Disappointed in o cedar!

When mopping, it’s best to flare the mop head so that all fibers make contact with the surface and the red base lies flat on the floor and the pointed part of the red base is facing forward when mopping. This will help with the issue you are experiencing.

The triangular head gets into tight corners effortlessly, and the spin bucket wrings out excess water without needing to touch it. The handle is sturdy, and the mop head is soft, absorbent, and washable. Great for quick, efficient cleaning with less mess. A total must-have for busy homes!
