Q: Can you use this mop on rough unsealed concrete basement floors?

submitted by Susan - 1 month ago

  • A: The True & Tidy TrueClean Spin Mop & Bucket System is designed for hard, sealed floor surfaces. We would not recommend using it on rough, unsealed concrete, as the uneven surface may affect the mop’s performance and could potentially damage the mop pads.

Q: If the spinner cleans the mop head why would you have to remove it to wash it?

submitted by Anonymous - 5 months ago

  • A: The spinner helps rinse and remove dirt from the mop pad during cleaning, but we still recommend removing and machine washing the mop pad occasionally for a deeper clean and to help keep it fresh over time. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Q: Does this product have a way to wring out excess water so we don’t get floors sopping wet?

submitted by Rach - 6 months ago

  • A: Thanks for your question! The spin mop is designed so the mop head comes out damp, not soaking wet. When you use the spin function, it removes excess water effectively so your floors won’t be sopping wet—just lightly damp for safe and quick drying.

    Great mop system

The packaging was great, and assembly was easy, it’s light weight for those people with back issues. It cleaned my floors throughly after maybe the second time around because I was getting used to the wet and dry mop feature. Delivery time was also fast. It picks up lint and hair and comes with a little crush to clean the buckets on the dirty water side and yes it does separate clean from dirty water. This upgrade from my regular mop was a must because touching a dirty mop was getting to me. I highly recommend this mop system.

    Mop Performance

I love the concept, you can wring the mop out without touching it. I bought it for the wringing feature & the fold down feature. The fold down feature doesn't work very well, it kept slipping when washing ceiling & wall. The swivel feature turned constantly when I was washing the wall & ceiling.

At first I couldn’t believe my eyes

Well at first I couldn’t believe my eyes how it left my floor clean. Only thing was that it would leave like clumped a bit I guess left over wet dry pieces of hair or dirt .

Works nicely and nice and lightweight.

This mop was easy to handle and the dirty and clean water did not mix. It could be improved a bit by having a small scrubbing attachment on or near the mop head to get up small, sticky patches which resist both sweeping and mop water. I am puzzled that the bucket cleaning instructions say to remove and rinse the motor cover when it is held in place by two large, tight screws. Just rinsing the bucket with the motor cover in place seems to work fine, though.

    Review

I do like the simplicity of this and separation of dirty water and clean without the touching the mop. My lack of giving 5 stars is for the latch of it were higher one wouldn’t have to bend and endure a sore back and another suggestion is I wish there were options to purchase replacement mop heads that had scouring or scrubbing texture in addition to the microfiber as an option to purchase because some surfaces that are more soiled I end up using a lot of effort and it doesn’t completely get it without having to get a scrub brush to go over the area.

    New spin mop

The mop is really neat, however I had a very hard time using it, and I wasn’t sure if I could get the pad dryer or not, and it’s really not dry, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I don’t know if I put too much water in it, if I didn’t put too much water, I couldn’t understand the instructions. Most people, most likely could. That’s the only reason I give it a four

    Walls!

Makes wall and ceiling cleaning super easy! I really appreciate the separate compartments to keep the dirt water from the clean. Would be great if the handle was more rigid and had a quick telescoping feature to shorten it for smaller areas.

    BEST MOP EVER!

I am absolutely in love with this mop. It makes cleaning up big or little messes so much easier. I really like that it has the clean soapy water reservoir separate from the dirty water and I like that it has the spin feature to get all the water off the mop!

    Better than I expected !!

To be honest, I wasn't really sure if this mop was going to actually work. I mean I've never had a square mop before and I didn't know how it was going to ring itself out or distribute the clean water onto the mop head itself. Well I'm pleasantly surprised at the way this mop cleans. It's easy to use and easy to clean out. The water stays separate like they claimed it would. I am so happy with your product. I've been telling everyone about this great new mop I bought. Thanks for helping me make my jobs around the house much easier .
