Q: Some of the other spin mops scratch your floor because there is little mop head, but lots of plastic. How does this compare?

With the squirt & mop, I squirt solution on floor then use water in the bucket to spread and rinse the solution off floors. Yes both are equally effective. This mop makes rinsing easier because the mop get wrung better with less water on the floor.

A: Thanks for this question. I have the O Cedar spin mop and bucket. The foot pedal pushing down makes this weird noise (not the seamless push you should have) and I have to pull it up with my toes it won’t come back up on its own. This has done this since I got it! I was just looking to possibly get the rinse clean version. But apparently I might run in to the same problem I really don’t want to Continue wasting money because it’s a huge pain in the butt!

You can spin the mop as much as you like so it can be wetter or dryer depending on what you need and good exercise for my calf muscles . The peddle is easy to use and the handle clip is great for holding the mop handle. It mop head comes off easily and just need to put it in the laundry to clean . I like how the dirty water and clean water is kept separate from each other. In the older version this feature wasn’t available.Very user friendly and sturdy enough to do what it is supposed to do. It’s not heavy so easy to walk around the house and the mop length os adjustable so not hurting your back. Overall an amazing experience, taking your cleaning to next level. I have robot cleaning device but won’t come close to manually cleaning mop like this one . I would recommend and I would buy it again

Total piece of junk. Not big enough to do anything, scrap the floor with the plastic cap. Material is low quality. For $50, this should be top notch. Disappointed in o cedar!

When mopping, it’s best to flare the mop head so that all fibers make contact with the surface and the red base lies flat on the floor and the pointed part of the red base is facing forward when mopping. This will help with the issue you are experiencing.

Having tested this new one, I have a lot of bad conclusions: 1. inconvenient system of separate clean and dirty water - dirty mop and dirty water still get into the clean compartment; 2. HUGE water consumption if you have more than one room for cleaning; 3. every time you have to bend down and open the lid to clean water bucket (big NO for me, pregnant); 4. it’s impossible to wash and dry the blue tank for clean water after cleaning if you clean the floor with detergent (hello, mold?). Thanks Influenster for the opportunity to test, but I absolutely won’t recommend this to my friends and will definitely go back to the old regular red version of this bucket.

It was a compartment for your water and everytime you dip the mop it feeds you clean water with your favorite floor cleaner. It is so easy to assemble and is easy to use. It definitely beats having to pour out dirty water and get brand new water everytime you wash different floors in your house. I definitely recommend this product and will definitely be using this everytime I clean!

I loved the idea of separating the dirty water from the clean one while mopping the floors. It’s very easy to use and to work with it. I just wished were a little bit smaller, because it doesn’t fit on my sink in order to be filled. Another concern is that the clean water doesn’t get to get out of the bucket entirely… when I finished, I can see a small amount of water that could not get out.

Let’s start with start with the good, it did a good job cleaning my floors, having the duel chambers for the clean and dirty water is always a good idea, assembling the handle together as well as the bucket was a easy, having a floor peddle to spin the mop to reduce the water on the mop makes life easier, now for the cons,because of the telescopic handle the part of the handle connected to the mop is thinner so when you have a part of the floor that needs more pressure it feels like the handle is not as strong, as a taller person the handle seemed on the shorter side that I had to hunch over more than normal, the way the dual water is designed when you rinse your mop in the clean water, water stays behind that is dirty so after the first rinse your clean water with always be some level of dirty, the mop goes through a lot of water I legit used and entire tank on just one floor and that was trying to take it easy, all in all though my floors look clean so that’s always a win in my book.
No more mopping with dirty water for more hygiene!

Its has two tank bucket design that keeps clean and dirty water separate which helps to do mopping hygienically every time. It has a foot pedal spin wringer which is smooth and easy to use, and you can control the moisture in the mop. This Mop system is very good because you don’t have to bend down unnecessarily. It has a microfibre mop head that picks up dust, dirt, and hair effectively. It’s lightweight, easy to move, and it cuts cleaning time in half. A great investment for a cleaner home with less effort. I highly recommend it!

It has made cleaning so easy. Every little detail was thought out with this mop and bucket. The clean water and dirty water remain in separate compartments! How amazing is that? I know my floors are clean every single time. I also love that there’s a pedal to help ring the mop! This really allows me to get my mopping done faster.
