[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure what went wrong. But I followed the instructions to a "T". I use the gel products, so started with my base coat, cured, two coats of color each cured, and then top coat, cured. I used the applicator to put on the chrome powder, brushed off the extra, and the applied another coat of the gel top coat polish. They looked beautiful, but within hours the top coat I put on over the chrome powder started peeling and chipping off in spots. Not sure what I did wrong, but it didn't stay and then looked silly while it peeled and chipped off.

That way I would know if I wanted to use chrome with a color or leave it off. Took some practice to get a good application. Learned start in middle of nail NOT by cuticle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think there is a learning curve with this product that I’m still kind of trying to figure out. It’s a bit difficult to get an even layer of chrome on the entire nail, so it can end up looking a bit streaky or patchy if you get too much product on. That being said, the finish is gorgeous and truly goes with any color. I’ll definitely keep working with it because the results are so worth it.

The only reason for 4 stars is that it chips fairly quickly. I did a gel mani almost two weeks ago. The gel looks great but the chrome has chipped from every finger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powder is fabulous and makes nails irridescent & shiny, mirror finish! So cool! The only problem I’m having is making it last on the tips of my nails. The tips wear off by day 2-3, even after capping my nails with extra top coat and paying special attention to ensure good top coat coverage. I’ve only used it with gel mani.

Overall, the chrome look is ok, gives nails some pizzazz. It can get messy and the brush doesn’t really clean residue around your nail. However, a good handwashing will.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really disappointed with this product. It gives a pretty glitter effect, but not chrome. I used over long lasting nail polish and when I applied it I was so excited because it gave a gorgeous chrome effect, but when you put top coat over it turns it from chrome to sparkly glitter. I tried multiple different top coats but it all did the same thing. I tried skipping top coat, but the chrome powder just wore off in a day. Not for me.

Oh my applicator did break on the 2nd nail I did. But I just need to get a replacement, should be an easy fix. But again I loved the look so much I don’t care about the minor details ha!

The chrome effect takes any mani up a notch. -1 star due to learning curve to make the chrome longer lasting. First time I applied, it all peeled off the same day. Next time, I angle filed the tops of my nails and that helped longevity.

I've been dying to try a chrome powder but always thought they were only for gel nails. The pressed powder is so easy to do neatly and it adds the perfect shine. I want to use this over ever color I have.
