Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We can understand how frustrating and somewhat alarming it can be to find residue of any kind coming from your toothbrush. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we have many quality checks to ensure all products are of the highest quality. Please know that there’s nothing in our toothbrush components that would cause mold. Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. Buildup can occur from regular use, even after rinsing, as water and toothpaste can harden over time on the brush head and handle. Depending on your toothpaste and water hardness, it can sometimes leave a residue that varies in color. Though you may already do so, we recommend keeping the toothbrush (without the brush head) switched on while rinsing, as it helps push water through the little openings to achieve the best clean and help minimize residue. With consistent cleaning of your brush, it'll continue to help minimize residue buildup. We want to gather more info so we can help further, and invite you to call us at (800) 566-7252.

Works fine, completes its cycle in 2 minutes teeth leaving a pleasurable clean feeling in one's mouth. The only reason for the average score is that, although it is supposed to function for 2 weeks on a single charge (2 cleaning a day) it actually last half that much. Which is a little painful since it takes 16 hours to fully charge it.

It does have a feature that you can connect your tooth brush to an app and track how well you’re brushing is and time you and make sure you get all your teeth.

The cleaning power is impressive — my teeth feel noticeably cleaner and smoother after each use. I also really like the smart features that guide you through your brushing and help ensure a more thorough clean. That said, the only downside is that it’s a bit tricky to turn off. It takes a few extra seconds or presses, which can be slightly annoying when you’re in a rush. Overall, though, I’m very happy with the performance and the tech enhancements. I like the sleek travel case and the assorted settings are perfect to fulfill every dental need! I think the price point is perfect, it comes with a carry case and is easily portable! It is water proof, it can be completely rinsed off or used in the shower! The battery seems to last for a couple of days and it is easily charged by standing it on the charging stand!

The Oral B is a great option for those of us obsessed with clean teeth. Be warned, it is very strong. If you have sensitive teeth, try it at the lowest setting and gradually move up. I use it at the whitening speed, my teeth feel so squeaky clean. This brush can be harsh on your gums, so be careful not to push hard on the gums when you brush. Hold the brush at a slight angle, make sure the surface of the tooth is exposed against the brush, and begin. I can keep the brush off the charger for a week and still brush, I love the battery charge. It also comes with a carry case, which is also great if you want to store the brush and protect from germs. When you brush with this, the dental hygienist will always compliment your cleaning in between theirs!
