I watched countless YouTube videos on various coffee makers before making my decision. If that sounds like you then STOP watching videos and just buy the Oxo 8 cup brewing system. You won’t regret it!

I’ve had the 8 cup coffee maker for several years. It has always brewed the perfect cup of coffee. It is simple to use and a great manual comes with it (not a cheap manual that easily gets worn out). If it ever needs replacing, I would immediately replace it with another one.

We have had many coffee makers (including a different Oxo one) and my husband (who drinks tons of coffee) likes this one the best. We both love the small footprint and very easy to use. And it makes great coffee!

It looks cool and makes good coffee that isn't burnt. I appreciate that most of the parts come off for cleaning. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time. Following the instructions in the manual yields a very strong cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good product. But for some unknown reason, after about 1 1/2 yrs it just 'konked' out. Almost daily use, but only in the mornings so definitely not overused. So I called OXO and they sent me a replacement. So far, so good!

Would have rate it five stars but on 8 cup setting you end up with coffee grinds in the thermal container even when using six grams per cup, At the 8 cup coffee measure the performance is wanting.

Thank goodness for my daughter, who helped me figure out how to clean up the coffee maker. It might be helpful us older folks to have instructions with a little more detail.

This maker overflows while brewing about every three pots. Makes a huge mess. Careful cleaning does not help. I have seen numerous reviews stating the same problem. The lid of the carafe is easily clogged with stray grounds. My cabinets are ruined. Do not buy.

When the machine functions, it makes good coffee. There are too many moving parts that require precise placement. The basket requires absolute precision in placement of the filter otherwise the filter overflows and coffee grounds clog the outlet resulting in a flooded countertop. The diffuser easily falls out of place resulting in overflows and flooded countertop. Replacement parts are not in stock so it is out of commission for a while. Mr. Coffee to the rescue.

Coffee was not as hot as I prefer it; and it also clogged the first run both in the brew area and in the carafe pour spout for some reason. For such a high priced product, I thought the results were problemed. I don't want to start my morning with coffee issues.

While this coffee maker is beautiful and sleep, is basic. Incredibly basic. Theres no clock or scheduling abilities. There’s no heating element to keep the coffee hot, but instead it relies on an insulated carafe. It does okay, but doesn’t seem to keep the coffee hot for very long. The feature that allows you to brew smaller amounts is gimmicky. A regular coffee pot will allow you to brew a smaller amount too, but I guess the difference is it’s possible to brew straight into a mug here. Like other coffee makers, it’s still very heavy on the plastic usage. I do like that I can remove the cover where the water dispenses from to clean it. I do also like how quickly it brews, but again it is not worth the high price tag. We’ve had it for a few days and I don’t feel the coffee comes out very hot, so I’ll probably be taking it back.
