OXO POP 3qt Airtight Cookie Jar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cookie jar and so does my family. Right away ai noticed that anything I put in the jar stayed fresher for longer. We have used it for cookies, pretzels, graham crackers. The jar itself is easy for kids to use - you press down on the lid to release it and when you're finished getting a cookie just put the lid on the jar and press down. It is easy to wash and a great size. My favorite part was how easy the jar is to close so there's no doubt if the jar is open or not

As someone that has arthritis pain in their hands it’s a life changer. I use mine for storing my dog’s treats. The clear container is easy to clean. I will be looking for more storage jars from this product line from OXO.

I find that it is perfect for me to put my coffee sweetener and sugar packets in. I love the non skid pad that is on the bottom of the jar to keep it in place on the counter without sliding. And sometimes, I just like the cookies in it. This is a really nice jar.

The container seems small, however I was able to put a whole family sized bag of chocolate chip cookies in it. If you make your own cookies large, the capacity will be smaller. What I wasn't in love with is the pop top. While it does open and close easily, it just didn't keep an airtight seal. The pop top piece does come apart for easy cleaning. Overall this container is better than a ceramic cookie jar and the wide opening makes it easy to get into.

You could store pretzels, crackers or more. I love the lid on this 3 qt. jar also. It is so easy to use and keeps the contents in the jar fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Receive the OXO Good Grips POP Cookie Jar (Medium) - 3 Qt/2.8 L. I like the large circular opening which makes it easy to get the snacks out. I also like the unique pop up button that creates an airtight seal with one touch and also doubles as a handle. This will help keep my cookies fresh and is easy enough for my 4 year old to use. This is a good size to keep on my small amount of cabinet tops. Plus since it is not glass it is easy for my 4 year old to get his own cookies and if he drops it, it won't break and cut him.

I would have loved to give this 5 stars because it is very cute and i love the concept and its sturdy. the quality of it is nice. i bought it for my mom for her coffee grounds and its been only 3 months since she's had it. now the suction doesnt work and the part that sits inside the jar (that has the rubber suction band around it) keeps falling off on her. i'm so upset because both of us loved it and it looks so nice in the kitchen. but oh well. i guess we'll have to find something else for her. in the mean time she said she'll keep using it since she still prefers this container overt the one her grounds comes in. onto the hunt for a new and better container i guess!!

Not airtight, the lid can pull on and off without punching center. Go with glass!

I got this for an alternative use. If it was made of glass, I would consider it for food, but since it's made of plastic, I used it for a non-food purpose. I store my various kitchen scrubbies inside, and I'm so glad it works well for this purpose!!! Under my sink, I have a small (12" diameter?) white bucket, In which I store sink cleaning surepplies, and the scrubbies in there were taking up half of the space, while they had their own needs for drying out after use, etc. I needed a separate container for the scrubbies, but I needed to keep the white bucket just as it was, because it was working well. Enter, the OXO 3qt. POP container!!! It fits right into the bucket, while serving the purpose of a bin or a shelf for storage, except it's more convenient storage than a bin or shelf, because the contents are completely enclosed and the container is not bound to the wall. It's SO darned convenient and practical!!!! When I need cleaning supplies for the sink, everything is right in the bucket and organized!!! I can even fill up the bucket with more dishcloths and whatever, and the OXO container on top, will just sit a little higher, but will still remain in place. If I have a scrubbie which needs to go into the container and the scrubbie is still slightly damp, no problem, I can just leave the lid ajar (or possibly just adhere the lid, but not air-seal it with the pop button). The whole concept really works well, especially because the lid is so easy to use, just pop it on and off. It's actually FUN to work this system!!! By a miracle I came up with the idea, but if it were not for the very functional design or the OXO container, the whole thing would not have worked. This is a super well made and functional container, super easy to use, and I highly, highly, highly recommend that peeps get this container (and the other sizes) to store all kinds of supplies!!!

I keep my dishwasher pods in the cookie jar - it works well to keep them fresh, and I'm not worried about them getting wet if the sink ever leaks. It's also kind of fun to pop it open and closed :)
