I haven’t used the mousse in many months but decided to just wet my hair and put in the leave in conditioner and the mouse. I walked to the store in the beautiful sunny weather today and just let my hair air dry. My hair is soft, shiny, defined, no hardness, no dullness that done strong gels can leave behind. I love it!! My hair is 3c/4a, highly frizzy, thin and porous. This is a nice product. And I love the small size.

I have 2B/2C hair, and I'm used to having to use a lot of product to get the hold and definition I like. I used maybe half the amount of mousse that I normally would when testing this because even that amount made my hair so oversaturated with it that it felt gooey immediately while applying. So I didn't apply more, thinking it would be plenty… Wrong. Frizz central, no definition. If it worked at all I wouldn't hate on the scent so much either, but considering all it did for me was make my hair a little soft, the scent is way too intense. I was on day 3 after wash day still catching whiffs of it. It made my bonnet smell like it. Just, no. Glad it works for some, but it is definitely not for me. I'm not willing to test applying more considering how overloaded it made my hair feel the first time. No, thank you.

This review is for the 4 oz size. I love the product, makes my curls stay nicely once you get past the learning curve since this isn't like any other mousse. My issue is the 4oz size. Why would you make it a size, travel size, that you can't travel with? 4oz does not meet TSA standards for carry ons. Why not make this 3. 4 oz so that I can use it when on airplane trips? So inconvenient.

I tend to like hair products that can double as perfume, unfortunately this one has a different type of scent that’s a little too artificial/candle smelling is the best I can describe it so if you’re in to that go ahead :)

I absolutely hate this product for MY hair. I am mixed (indonesian and white), and this stuff makes my hair stiff, dry, and crusty. I have thick and coarse hair that does not jive with this product. My hair is more on the side of 2b-2c. During a color appointment, my stylist used this to bring out my curl pattern, but it just made my hair feel terrible and barely defined.

I actually like the way this mousse looks in my hair while it's styled but after washing it out I noticed my hair is extremely dry and nappy. There's something in this foam mousse and another one I tried that just dries out my hair and I'm almost certain it's because of how fine my hair is.
Good but can we chill on the fragrance?

The fragrance is a little too strong for me besides that the mousse is good. It does leave a little crunch but just use praying hands to scrunch it out. The hold is still there even after doing that. Unfortunately I dont think I can buy this again due to the headache inducing fragrance in it.

Initially I liked this mouse but, when mixing with other leave ins or gel this mouse starts to create these little white clumps in my hair. It can get super itchy, I’ve used this product alone too and it just makes my hair frizzy and itchy. I have 3c hair so maybe mouse is just not for me but I’m not a fan.
