Bought it as a gift for my older mother and she has had for a 1 1/2 she broke the glass jar today and I called power XL directly to get a replacement on the jar. I was told they don't have a replacement for this model and I just called target and they said the same thing. Literally any other brand like ninja, oyster and whirlpool ALL have replacement. First time I bought this brand because it was supposed to be a special gift for my mother and I can't get a jar replacement. Power XL did try to look to see if I could get one from Amazon and they didn't fit this blender. Not buy this just get something else.

I use it mainly for pureeing fruit, and making pepper sauce. Works like a dream, with fresh OR frozen fruit. This thing really has some power, and doesn't have any of the failure issues I experienced with previous blenders I've owned. The motor base is heavy, so it stays put on the counter at high speeds, no "crawling." And it's a heavy duty glass jar, which I think should be a given. All the power I need, and less expensive than those boutique blenders. I'm loving this thing all over the place.

The plastic inside the cover of the blender was broken into pieces and they shipped it to me!

but I seriously hate this thing. I use it to make smoothies almost exclusively, and it's a nightmare. I have to stop the blender and "readjust" the chopped fruit inside several times because they get hung up in the bowl and the blades just start spinning in thin air. I've tried adjusting the amount of solid foods, the amount of liquid, pre-chopping fruit into smaller pieces, nothing helps. It takes ten minutes to make a personal smoothie. This blender is also glass which makes it pretty, but it's very heavy. I do like the digital control panel, though.
