Powerful until the lid stopped closing

Had this blender for over a year and used it moderately. Today, I made an orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger shot, and the lid wouldn't close properly. I could only get it to work if I held it down. Any fixes? I recommend the blender, but it feels like they're made to break after a year so you'll have to replace it. The motor works fine, though.

Meh

I'll see how it handles soups, but it didn't impress me with smoothies. Unlike my old blender, peanut butter sticks to the sides, and cacao nibs don't get chopped well. I think it'll work better with frozen fruit, though. It's also much harder to clean than my classic blender.

Works great

Had this blender for a while, and it works great! My only issue, maybe it's user error, is that when I wash it in the dishwasher, it gets dirty on the outside. It doesn't matter how much I pre-wash. But other than that, it blends perfectly and the lid is easy to pour from.

Doesn't blend well

I expected this blender to be much better. I only used it for smoothies, and it couldn't even blend spinach well. Had chunks of dates and spinach left over. Tried blending longer, but no improvement. It's going back.

TOO LOUD

This is my 3rd one, and by far the worst. It's so loud I have to tell people to hold on while talking in the kitchen. For the price, it should be quieter. I wouldn't recommend this model to anyone.
