First 100 Words (Bright Baby Series) First Edition by Roger Priddy (Board Book)

Only had it a month and the binding is already coming apart from the pages!

this is the best book! Our 2 year old loves it! he constantly carries it around and points to the pictures and says what they are! A must have for toddlers!

This has been a favorite book of my child since a young age. It’s good for babies as well as toddlers and beyond. Lots of pictures and themes (though a few of the pictures are not what I would have chosen—may be duplicative or hard to understand).

The only book my baby will sit through. He LOVES to pat at the pictures and has favorites on each page. I love the size of the book. With it being so big he cant just try to eat the corners while I try to read to him.

The vibrant colors and pictures in this book are perfect to keep my little ones attention. She loves flipping through the pages.

My toddler loves this book. This is the large size and he loves to be able to see the pictures in the larger size.

I love this book for my daughter- it has become my go-to gift for first birthdays! The real pictures and vivid colors draw their attention, and definitely help them learn and practice the words they are learning! It's a larger book with easy to turn pages for little hands.

Great board book with actual photos of common objects. Toddlers and babies will love reading with the big size too.

I got this book for my grandson who is only seven months old.I wanted my son and daughter in law to be able to show him the pictures and say the words to him.In the months ahead my grandson can hold the book and learn by looking at it with them.

My kid is at a stage where he is trying to say words and frequently points at objects asking me what that is and how to say it. This book is excellent for it ! It being a big board book with decent sized pictures is perfect for a toddler !

Huge, sturdy, colorful book!

Great size and made sturdy for babies to hold or reach for

I bought this book thinking it would be filled with simple words you would expect to be part of your baby’s first 100 words spoken. It does have a lot of what you’d expect as far as animals and objects, however I feel some of the words aren’t what I would expect. For example, there is a picture of a stuffed animal labeled as “soft toy” and on the same page is a tower of fabric blocks labeled “soft blocks”. Not at all what I would think a baby would say. I would’ve loved to see a page of body parts (eyes, nose, mouth etc)—nope, but there are three pages of animals. The first page is “colors” but instead of just labeling the colors, a colored object is shown and labeled (blue ball, brown goat). In all, my daughter does like the book, but I bought online and if I would’ve seen it in store and had the opportunity to look through it, I wouldn’t have purchased this book.

Fantastic. This book is very colorful, bright and great illustrations. The pages are thick and hard, so that they won't tear out of the book. The coating appears to be one that you could wipe off any spills.

The size of this book is much larger than I expected. I had seen a similar book in a small format and wasn't thrilled, so I was very happy that it turns out this bok is large with words/pictures that are easy for a little one to see. Not every word is going to be useful in our particular family, but there are plenty on each page to talk about with the little one. Too many other books designed for ages 0-1 are more suited for age 4-5, and this one is just where it should be - simple words to repeat and enjoy and "talk" about.

Just what I needed. My 3 year old and 1 year old love it. The pictures the colors are so bright and the pages are thick. Very good learning tool. It’s a large book not very travel friendly if that’s what you are looking for.
