  • A: I spray the Heat product on my wet hair as per the instructions on bottle: "Spray liberally 6-8" away on BOTH damp hair before you blow dry OR on dry hair before using curling iron. Love this product.

  • A: I have it; it won't "fix" hair that's damaged; it does not make your hair feel gunky; and it doesn't especially give a shine (like a 'cone product would). It just does a good job at heat protection.

Lovely product but spray handle is ridiculous

Product is great and smells wonderful! Suggest a sprayer redesign as it makes 0 sense unless you are spraying the product on someone else (to use it on one's self is very awkward and uncomfortable). Transferred product into a different bittle with a more ergonomic schnozzle.

The best heat protectant I have tried

I have been using this heat protectant for a little over two months now and I am very impressed. I have been applying it, front and back, to small sections of my hair directly out of the shower after towel drying which I found gave me the most even coverage. The formula is lightweight and did not weigh down my fine thin hair, gave me the protection from environmental factors that I needed, and reduced breakage and fizz. The applicator gives a nice even spritz which makes even application super easy and quick. Overall, this is a great heat protectant that I would highly recommend!

I’ve been using the TRESemme Thermal Heat before blow drying and flat ironing my hair, and it’s becoming a staple in my routine. The spray is lightweight and doesn’t make my hair feel greasy or heavy. It helps my hair feel smoother and easier to style, especially when using heat tools. It also like that it adds a bit of shine and helps reduce frizz after styling . The scent is pleasant and not too strong. I usually spray it evenly on damp or dry hair before applying heat, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my hair is protected.

Strong perfume smell

I can't speak to product performance, but if you are sensitive to smells....skip this one. It has a very strong perfume smell. It smells beautiful, but very migraine triggering for those of us sensitive to that.

Smells great and light weight!

This is one of my favorite thermal sprays! The mist is light and not sticky. It smells great and is affordable. I like that I can use it everyday and it will not make my hair heavy! I have color treated hair and a keratin treatment and this is perfect for maintaining and upkeep.

Spray applicator very fragile

It's one of the best heat protectants I've ever used. My hair is naturally curly, and I use this formula when I straighten it, and it doesn't get any heat damage! The only downside is the packaging; the spray applicator always breaks on me. It's very fragile when you use it.

The value is incredible and you get a LOT of product, 8oz of heat protectant is awesome since we need to be thoroughly using this type of product when heat styling.
