Not vegetarian and has sugar

We are vegetarian and I did not expect there to be gelatin in here so I was surprised when I read the reviews and someone mentioned it. After looking at the ingredients I would not buy this again as I was unaware of the gelatin in here and also sugar being a second ingredient before banana puree. There are healthier options for baby snacks.

My daughter (who met all recommended milestones and age) choked and could not breath and I had to give her the Heimlich maneuver. Scariest moment of my life!! I will never ever buy this product again and even go as far as advocating against the product for children’s safety.

Don't Give to 12 Months and Younger

These do not melt well. They're very very dry due to being freeze dried. When they hit your tongue or mouth, they instantly absorb the saliva and stick. The problem is that they get gummy right after sticking. I tried one and it gummed up and was difficult to swallow. I tried giving these even quartered to my son when he was 12 months and they still stuck. Only good for older toddlers.
