I am in love with this lamp! It looks fantastic. Trust me, these are words I never thought I'd say about a lamp, but again- I'm in love. There was some assembly required, but it was pretty simple. It came in excellent condition. No nicks or marks that I can see. I have a very large great room and it fills the space well. Pay attention to its size because it is a large lamp.

I am redecorating my living room to a more chic and elegant style—black and white. I was look for a lamp that would compliment the decor. And, when I saw the Adesso lamp, it caught me eye. I would highly recommend the lamp.

Beautiful lamp for a great price!

This lamp is simple, striking and just right. I wanted a standing lamp that did not have the cord running down the middle of the legs. This lamp hides the cord to the very bottom. Some people asked about the amount of light it gives with a black shade. The lamp can take a 3 way bulb so it can be adjusted and there is no issue with a lack of light due to the shade. Although I measured, when the lamp is set up, it is a bit imposing and did not seem right for the space I originally intended. It is so good looking though that we kept it and moved it to a just right location.

I was hesitant to buy this lamp due to how expensive it is. But man I am so glad I did because I love it! It’s solid, well built, contemporary, and goes with anything. You would think the black shade would block the light out but it doesn’t. It’s tall enough that the light shines up and below the shade. It’s a great piece of furniture and I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful lamp, elegant and modern. Easy to assemble. It is a big lamp, tall with a big shade. Three way bulb shines nicely through black shade. Legs have little pads on the bottom. Cord comes out of bottom of one leg, so it’s unobtrusive.

Bought the Adesso Director floor lamp in black for my family room that was being remodeled. I was a little uneasy since it is only sold online and I didn't see anything similar to it in my store,. But it is a spectacular lamp. I was also worried that a black lamp shade would mean less light output, but that is not the case. It is solidly built, was easy to assemble and the style is very rich-looking. It really sets off our new furniture. While not the least expensive lamp that Target sells, this one looks much higher-end than reflected in the cost. Exceedingly pleased with this purchase.

I waited and waited until I could wait no more. I really did not need another floor lamp, but I loved the style and decided to buy it as a bday gift to myself. The lamp is so nice! The legs are metal and it took 5 mins to put together. It's tall and has a full shade, so it fills the space in my living room perfectly. Love it!
