Does not kill lice and the comb does not remove nits on fine thin hair. Works great on thick hair.

Lifesaver!
I bought this for my 5 year old and another treatment and only needed to use this! Such a life saver! I saturated the hair a lot, and almost used the whole bottle, but honestly that helped tremendously to get rid of them with the comb. I’m gonna look again tomorrow, but I feel good that I got them in one shot. The smell and feeling is not the best, but not as gross as a lice infestation. 10/10 product!

Fantastic!
Thought I’d try this first and bought a tough chemical back up just in case. This was all we needed. This worked better than other brands with harsh chemicals. Both of my kids have very long hair and the infestation was awful. This got rid of all of the lice in all stages with one application. I used it generously and let it dry thoroughly and no more lice! I kept the kids in the (dry) tub for an hour because it actually causes some of them to slide out and I didn’t want to have to vacuum the whole house all over again. After I washed the treatment out I combed through and got any dead stragglers out. It also loosened the eggs so they were easier to comb off. And ~12 hours later I was able to get any leftover eggs combed out because it cut through the cement-like adhesive the eggs stick to the hair with.

Always works for us, so far
This treatment works for us. I always keep it in stock just in case we have a critter and we can get on top of it immediately. What has worked for us is to work in parts, saturating from roots to ends. After, comb through to get any live lice. Finally, we let it dry over night, shampoo, and comb again. I have not found any live lice the next day, just dehydrated nits. A week after, I will repeat the process in case there is anything that survived. You definitely do need to use the comb! I’ve never just let it dry and hoped it solved the problem completely. It takes work, but it works!

Doesnt work at all.
This doesn’t work. Suffering yet again with life after finishing an entire bottle, it also smells strongly of black licorice. If you want something that’s instant buy rid super max lice treatment. It paralyzes the lice and kills on contact. Finally lice free after using RID.

Didn't work
Unfortunately, this product didn’t work for us—left the hair feeling sticky and with an unpleasant smell. We used a different treatment the next day and were able to see the lice actively coming out.

Just buy it!!
So easy to use and the smell isn’t as terrible as other lice treatments. I never leave reviews but this was something that helped so much and I would like all parents to try it!! It’s only one spray and one small comb. I sprayed onto roots until damp and then once everything was wet I massaged all over the scalp and then the rest of the ends. I waited longer than 10 mins and I could still see lice crawling so I went in another round and left it in a little longer. I didn’t let it completely dry (as I already had once) so the second time I started combing it out to get all the eggs out too and it definitely worked better after two rounds. After combing I washed out thoroughly with shampoo and it look so much better than how we started!!! I’m gonna to do it again tomorrow just to make we got everything, but if I had to guess I would say 90% of the problem is gone now I’m just going back in cause I’m paranoid. After doing it to my daughters I did it on myself too and the spray just makes it so easy to do on your own head. I only did it once on my hair as a precaution. Also, one bottle goes a long way. I did it twice on my twin 6 year olds and once on my own hair and still have a little left. Also, the fact that it comes in the spray bottle, made it less scary for my kids. I said it was a hair strengthening hair product, and they believed it.

Killed the bugs
Our first experience with head lice but this product did the job! Killed all the live bugs within 10 minutes. Not sure about the nits, since we did thorough combing daily for the week following treatment. I will say that it dried my hair out but I’d rather have that than lice.

It helps you find them but does not kill them all
We’ve dealt with lice two springs in a row (thanks to my kid’s school). I like this product more than the bigger brand pesticide that’s available everywhere. HOWEVER, do not believe for a minute that you can just spray it in and all the lice and nits will die. You *must* comb. I tried the spray and air dry method this time and man, what a mess. It got so much worse. When I realized we still had lice over a week later, I used this again and combed immediately. I found live lice easily, and there were several so this stuff alone did not just kill them. It’s much easier to find them when you use this because they let go and run. So use this and comb immediately, getting all the lice and nits you can. Then you really need to comb daily until you don’t see anything. Spritz with water and Rosemary Repel by Fairy Tales, or a similar detangler, to facilitate combing. Treat again with this if needed. Do your laundry obsessively, use your freezer, put away all unnecessary blankets and pillows, vacuum the car and couches. Getting rid of lice is exhausting and takes a lot of diligence but you can do it!

It works!!!
This stuff really works. I highly recommend it. I parted my daughter’s hair down the middle. I dry combed it first to get all of it out then I use the product by spraying it at the roots going through every section saturating the hair and let it sit for about two hours after that, I combed through it again and what was little that was left was Dead then we shampooed and conditioned as usual after that I combed through it every day checking to see, but there was nothing Will buy the product and use it on her again in about a week just to be sure

Black Approved
So I'm African American and my son got lice from school. I was totally freaking out. I've never dealt with it or no one my family. His doctor prescribed something but it was $160 with insurance, which I going to pay because I wanted to be done quick. But I research a bit and across this and saw the awesome reviews and it's $10. I figured I'll try this before going the expensive route. He has a afro. I drench his who head, used the whole bottle. We did it early evening. It dried maybe after a hour but I wash it out until the next day. When washing I saw all the dead lice. I saw no sign of lice afterwards. However because of paranoia I repeated this two days later. Then I did a 3rd treatment exactly a week later just to make sure I killed all the eggs. And he's been lice free since thank God! Now that comb isn't mad for coarse curly hair. I just bought a cheap detangling combo to throw away after use.

PATCH TEST!!!
Worked great but would recommend doing a patch test first. My child got a fever every time I used this product and complained about burning skin.

Salt water is what this product is
Salt water. If you’re buying this product you are buying expensive salt water. If salt water was effective for treating lice, humans would have eradicated lice several thousand years ago. This product doesn’t kill lice or their eggs. I foolishly grabbed this one off the shelf when I was short on time, only to realize what I’d accidentally purchased at home later. Buy a mineral-oil-shampoo or dimethacone treatment that smothers the lice and lice-comb, comb, comb for a week.
