Q: I read where all the deluxe dolls are supposed to be poseable, but this one specifically says she does not bend at the knees, like a previous description about the deluxe dolls had stated? Please cla

  • A: She only really bends at the hips. But the legs are made of soft rubber and she's kind of bow-legged, so she can sit on the horse. Maybe that's what they mean by poseable.

Unusable

The dolls don’t bend their knees so don’t fit the horse well, the foot rests on the horse are built in the wrong way so the dolls feet can’t fit on

Childhood Nostalgia

I had this doll as a little girl. My parents could never afford to buy me an American Girl Doll, but Our Generation was something they could afford to buy me. Lily Anna was my doll, seeing that she is still being made over a decade later makes me emotional. I hope she can bring other little kids the joy she gave me as a kid.

great AG dupe!

my 3 year old was gifted this for christmas and really likes it. the doll is good quality with high quality accessories and clothes. the joints are not as mobile as with american girl dolls, but the doll is just as beautiful as the AG ones! the book that's included is also really sweet.

Much nicer than the picture

My granddaughter is taking riding lessons & loves horses. This doll, which was dressed in the riding outfit, was perfect! The doll is much cuter in person with her long, braided hair. Having the dress & shoes as a extra outfit was an additional bonus. My granddaughter loved the doll for her November birthday. I gave her the Our Generation horse that is a companion to the 18" doll. She was crazy about the horse! Reasonable prices, nicely made and very cute. I'm delighted!

Great Doll

I love that she rides horses and her cloths are adorable. She has nice soft hair and really she is the best but she has green eye brows. The green is like leaf green and it’s quit noticeable.

I got this many years ago, like 4 , and I still have the doll and all the parts. She sleeps with me in bed and my dog lies on her legs. I really like this doll and her amazing story!

My childhood toy

I got Lily Anna around 8 years ago for Christmas as a kid. This version has different clothes but still appears to be the same general character. I have my doll in my collection and I love her.
