Great product
I have been using Dove products, my whole life using the soaps. I love how they make your skin feel so soft. And I have been using your deodorant ever since you have come out with them. I love the cucumber, melon deodorant. I love The scent how it smells so light in fruity. I enjoy wearing your deodorant because it gives me full protection and absorption all day long and does not leave any nasty residue on your clothing, I would highly recommend this product to other people to give it a try

Long lasting, but may cause irritation
This deodorant works really well and holds up even during hot summer days. The scent is clean and fresh but not overpowering and it applies smoothly. The only downside is that leaving it on for more than 8 hours causes me some itching and irritation on my underarms. Overall, an affordable and effective anti-perspirant option.

Ome of the signature products frim Dove! I like how fresh the scent is, definitely not overpowering at all. However, in terms of packaging, I wish they accounted for how much residue got left behind and stuck to the cap because of the curve.

NEW FORMULA SUCKS
I have used Dove "Cool Essentials" antiperspirant/deodorant for YEARS, as I am very sensitive to the odors and chemical compositions of other deodorants. Well, the two days ago, I opened a new stick of Dove Cool Essentials and put it on my underarms after my shower, as usual. Within 2 minutes, I noticed that my eyes and nose were burning inside and the odor from the Dove stick were overwhelmingly strong!!! I washed it off and thought maybe I was being overly sensitive. I had a previously opened travel size stick of Dove deodorant, so I used it with no problems. Last night, I tried the new stick of Dove and immediately had to wash it off. I asked my husband, who is not overly sensitive to smells, whether or not he could smell my new deodorant and he commented that he was wondering why he could smell it all the way across the bedroom, as he knows that I prefer mild, fresh scented deodorant. I cannot continue to use this product and will be making sure to tell everyone that uses Dove to be careful of the formula changes!!!! DOVE NEEDS TO BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!

I absolutely love this deodorant! The scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering, and keeps me feeling dry and confident all day long. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave white mark on my clothes. I also noticed its gentle on my skin, no irritation at all. A definitely must have on my daily routine. Highly recommended.

New Formula Gave Me a Rash
I have been using this product for years because it was the only deodorant that didn't make my armpits break out into a rash. I thought that maybe only the packaging had changed but after I used it for a few days I realized the formula changed too. After using it for 4 days I got red bumps on both armpits that itch like crazy. I wish the packaging said new formula to warn me but you have now lost a customer of 20 years. Please bring back the old formula

So Disappointing
Getting on the bandwagon with all the haters! This new formula is terrible. I have been using Dove cook essentials for at least 15 years. Why do companies always have to mess with what’s good. The new formula is greasy, and doesn’t absorb, and it does not provide the same protection. So disappointing for a company that prides itself on caring for women. Perhaps another example of a company cutting costs so shareholders become richer? Back to the drawing board to find a new antiperspirant.

Ruined a good thing!
You guys at Dove done messed up a fantastic product! I don’t even know how many years I’ve been using the cucumber cool essentials advanced care, but I recently restocked and been driving myself nuts all week wondering why I suddenly have BO for the first time in my life. I even washed my coat thinking it was making my sweaters stinky despite me rarely ever sweating in it. Did some research and come to find out about the formula change. Such a shame. Now I need to return the bundle I just got and hit the shops to find the old trusted and true formula. **note to those experiencing the same thing—- I think it’s this new “Pro-ceramide technology”! Old one was “NutriumMoisture”. Dove, if you wanna jump on this ceramide beauty trend then fine. But make it a separate line for those who actually need it. Or just save it for a product where it’s actually effective. The rest of us want the stuff that kept our pits fresh, not some tiny microdose of ‘ceramides’ that likely doesn’t make a difference anyway. Bring back the old the old stuff!

Terrible New Scent!
The new scent is terrible. It’s like grandma’s powdery perfume instead of a tried-and-true crisp scent. Why mess with a good thing?? This has been my deodorant for SO long, but I just can’t wear the new formula. Please go back to the old scent.

Loved and used for years with no issues the old formula in this scent 48 hour. Will be finding a new alternative. This no longer works, the smell is awful and I fell asleep if I have body odor all day. Lost a long time dove customer.

New formulation is awful
The formula and active ingredient have both changed. Used the old one for years and very happy with it. This new formulation is awful - doesn’t work as well and makes me itch. Very disappointed and, sadly, will no longer be a Dove customer as I look for an alternate product.

Love it, but hooe ttey can still do better
I love the smell and smooth texture of this deodorant/antiperspirant, but I am still hoping that Dove will be able to figure out how to make an antiperspirant that does not contain aluminum. I understand they have deodorant that is aluminum free, but that doesn’t really help with the antiperspirant side of things and I’m not jazzed about aluminum deposits going into my skin.

This was my favorite deodorant up until this purchase. The scent was clean and fresh. Now it smells like straight up cleaning solution once you apply it. It was so much, I thought my clothes smelled but no…it was this deodorant. Just be aware it changed.

Great deodorant! I really like the smell as well, as it is not overpowering (I have a sensitive nose and am picky when it comes to these things). I use this regularly and find that it does decrease sweating a TON. This is an og product for me and I will continue to use it. The negative thing I will say is why is it so expensive? It does lose a star in the "Value" category due to this as I don't believe that deodorant should be more than $6 max.

Awful new smell
So it looks like it’s not just me that noticed a change! I’ve used this deodorant for many years and can no longer use it. The smell is very strong, almost like a cleaner. My daughter tried it and I can’t even stand the smell on her, so I tossed it. Need to find a new deodorant now.
