  • A: We apologize for our delayed answer, Whimsey. In addition to deep cleaning and stain removing action, White Revive also deposits brighteners to enhance whites in your laundry. While the product was made with whites in mind, it's also safe to use on any colorfast garments. As with many of our products, we always recommend testing in an inconspicuous location on the garment before use.

Q: Do you soak this? If so how hot is the water then? I have several white pants that have been getting diry IN the washing machine so thought I'd try this. How long do you let it soak for?

  • A: Hi, JT, Here are presoak directions for OxiClean White Revive Paks: Add 1 Pak to 1 gallon of the warmest water allowable for your fabric (see garment care instructions). For extra whitening, add 2 Paks. DO NOT open the Pak. Mix well to dissolve the Pak. Submerge stained clothing, or dingy white garment in solution. Soak for 1-6 hours and then wash as normal with detergent. Thank You

Give it some time and it works

Bought this and tossed it in the wash with my white laundry. Didn’t notice a huge difference. Decided to try one last time to remove stains and brighten some undershirts. Dissolved two paks in hot water, soaked shirts for 15 hours, then washed as normal. I was SHOCKED that all the stains are gone. Blood, food, underarm yellowing - all gone. Now that I know how to use these, I am obsessed. I’d love an unscented version of these!

Plastic cast on clothes.

The wrapping does NOT fully melt on the washing cycle and if you don't remove before drying your clothes will end up with a plastic cast fused into them. I did use hot water on washing cycle and I don even think it helps with whitening.

Smell is not bad at all

I use this product along with vinegar to wash white towels & sheets. So many reviews complain about the smell. I am very sensitive to smell and these do have a smell, but definitely nothing terrible. Its a clean smell. My only complaint is that the price continues to go up.
