Q: Is intense color variation in this flavor normal? I have one that’s orange/almost brown and one that’s deep red in this same flavor.

Red and blue fruits are rich in anthocyanin, which are relatively unstable and easily degraded during the thermal processing of food. Additionally, because these pouches are clear, they are exposed to light which can alter the color of the product as they age. My baby loved this flavour I already gave her the other flavours from this brand but we never tried this flavour she was really impressed with the taste cave texture and I like that all the ingredients are healthy and organic

Watch out for sugar!
SO MUCH SUGAR. I didn’t think about looking at the sugar content of fruit pouches until after my baby ate this one and then acted wild from the sugar! Now I’m realizing that most pouches are super high in sugar because they are mostly or completely fruit. (Duh, I know.) I’m returning the other pouch of this and getting pouches that have primarily veggies instead so we can limit the amount of sugar my son takes in. Just a reminder that even if something seems healthy, I still need to read the label. I use pouches for on-the-go snacks so he always eats the whole thing. (If I’m feeding him at home I make a purée/thick mash in a bowl.)

I decided to have Harvey try this mix because it has beets. Beets have every single vitamin and mineral your body needs to survive. I like that they are making vegetables and fruit fun and delicious. Meat shouldn’t be bottled. Price is fair and the pouches are easy to consume by 9 month olds and store by parents. **Side note. When I run out of snacks and need something on the go, these healthy pouches are great to thro in my purse and snack on the road and between clients:)

Unique Flavor you must try
Purchased this for myself (adult) as a quick on the go snack. As i would never prepare this combination for myself i gave it a try. Fell in love with unique flavor. Tastes great, its organic, better than a boring pouched apple sauce. I've probably purchased about a dozen pouches so far. I would highly recommend.
