There are some cautions that should always be taken. If the non-removable insole already has a high level of contouring to it, it may not allow the Dr. Scholl's insole to sit properly to manage your arch and foot support. And while our product has been clinically tested in shoes where insoles were not removed, there can be some shoes that may already be a bit tight. A: Our Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics are very easy to cut to size. Please follow these instructions. 1) The insoles that came in your shoes are probably removable - take them out 2) Place your plantar fasciitis orthotics into shoe, fabric side up, to test for size. If needed, trim the orthotic along the outline (on bottom of orthotic near toes) that matches your shoe size. 3) Ensure the orthotic lays flat against the bottom of your shoe, especially in the toe area. If it doesn't fit without bunching, continue to trim as needed.
